It Depends on the size of your *ss. Theres room for a small one. Big *sses are out of luck and have to do it, as usual, by hand ;p

How about the same owners layout as the New 45,, having the commode in the hallway takes up alot of space.

First it's a cat, so multiply the feet by two. Then the width is 3x an RV's one. Look from the above the diff. Between a 34 and a 40 it's huge. You have 4 real cabins and 2 bathroom or 3 cabin 1 single bathroom and 1 two person bathroom. Plus two toilets. Plus two engines (10 k€ ar least) each, twice the battety Amps of an RV's, plus twice the furnitures of an EV, plus two hull and the massive structure of a boat. Then mast and rigging. Then giants sails (4 k€ for the smallest ), nav station, anchors... The less expansive cat i know, a 34' , the Aventura 34, made in Tunisia, is 190/200 k€, with very low profit.

I dont think they are pitching it as a new 44. That wouldnt make any sense at all. Where did you get that info from??

Heard no more orders being taken by FP on Helia 44 as production line is closing in 2019 to complete boats already on order. Helia Evolution is probably one of the best circumnavigation cats for couple cruisers and when considering cost vs features doubt most blue water Helia owners would downsize....preferring the similar boat length. The Saba 50 apparently is also being dropped from the line making way for the new Saona 47 leaving FP buyers less choice with 45 feet category and paying more if they size up.

Horse Sense Yes this boat is confusing. Some nice touches vs Helia 44 Evo, clear improvements. But too much missing or compromised and makes for a far lesser boat. Lack of bridge deck seating, smaller port heads, lack of starboard storage/wardrobe space, etc. make for a much poorer option as a long term cruising boat. I recently chartered a 44 for 2 weeks, even for that this 42 wouldn’t be as nice. I really hope they do a new 44/45. 47 is great but I believe it comes in around 100k more than 44.

That could be, because theres a new 44/45 in the planning. But im just guessing and hoping that they will.

Insane that it's not possible to wash your hands in the owners heads... Big layout mistake and that internal door handle will rapidly become unhygienic!
