Imagine Luigi's Mansion but entirely in Peach's Castle. A heavily expanded and updated version of what was in Mario 64. Maybe he could even go to a few of the worlds from that game. A nostalgic game that fits and works and is great for all sorts of references.

I know this response contradicts the prompt, but I've been *dying* for a sequel to my favorite game on the DS, The World Ends With You. It would've been amazing on 3DS.

I'm just sad we never got an original game with Ocarina of Time & Majora's Mask 3D's engine. Those games are gorgeous on the Nintendo 3DS, and seeing a completely new game with that engine would've been really awesome. As for sequels, I'd say Animal Crossing and Kid Icarus: Uprising

What I wouldn't do for more Kid Icarus Uprising, that is the very definition of a perfect game. For right handed people at least.

An Uprising sequel would be great given all the Kid Icarus exposure that Smash 4 had within it.

I am so late to this channel, but god it is interesting to hear just how often Arlo just predicts the things that would happen in the future! Luigi’s Mansion on the switch, figuring out how to make 2d and 3d Zelda work side by side, Mario world and all its extra stuff… And that is just this video! I feel like a time-reversing detective😂

God, I want a new Kid Icarus game ;-; It's easily one of my favorites on the system. i had so much fun playing, and it might be the most funny game I've ever played.

Uprising is one of my favorite games and it's a darn shame it hasn't been revisited. Every Nintendo news round I say "If we only got Kid Icarus then I would be more happy than I've ever been."

I just realised that Kid Icarus: Uprising is my favourite game of all time. Like, I've been back and forth between Wind Waker, Pokemon Crystal, Xenoblade Chronicles (and X) for ages now, but I always forgot about Uprising. I have never enjoyed a game as much as that one. I clocked in 150 hours into that thing! A KID ICARUS GAME!

Funny that Luigis Mansion is getting a 3ds remake when the switch is a year and a half old. Also, simpler mario and zelda games can still exist on the switch: as download games.

The Rhythm Thief, though I should probably explain why for those who haven't played it. to summarize it up: it's a rhythm game that rarely reuses mechanics in the main story but there are hard mode versions of each game, but it has puzzle mechanics in the Overworld. The visual are really good,the story is such a good mystery, and the music...... I honestly cannot put into words why it is so good but if you want to hear it for yourself the entirety of the soundtrack is on RU-vid. I feel any game deserve the sequel it should be this beautiful, beautiful gem

I remember super Mario 3D land was one of the first games I ever played on my og 3DS, sold it like an idiot at 14 and now at 19 and in college I got a new one. I’ve been playing Star Fox 64 3D, Pokémon crystal, Sun, and Smash 4 non stop since.

Watching in 2019, Luigi's mansion 3 is coming out. Good game. I want to see a sequel for TLoZ Triforce heroes.

The reason Link Between Worlds has the same map as Link to the past is because it was originally intended to be a LTTP remake.

Kid Icarus Uprising is one of my favorite games ever. Like top 10 of all time favorite. I also think it's easily the most underappreciated game ever. Any time the game comes up, the conversation seems to be dominated by one topic: the controls. And I think it's fair that a lot of people didn't like the controls, but it's a shame people ignore the surprisingly large scope with 25 completely unique levels that each even has a unique boss, the gameplay that provides a unique take on the third-person shooter, the story that's simultaneously hilarious and epic and makes up for the series' 20 year absence by jamming three games into one, the massive amount of replayability the difficulty system and weapon crafting provide, and the amazing soundtrack. But I totally get why it didn't get a sequel. Sakurai went all out, so it was probably really expensive to make, and less than 2 million was probably not enough to consider it a success. Plus Sakurai was working on Smash 4, and they might be reluctant to do another one without him. But I really hope they give the game another shot with an HD remaster, because I think the biggest thing holding people back from the 3DS version was the control scheme, so releasing it on a system with two sticks might get people to finally appreciate the rest of the game.

Fun trivia. Kid Icarus was made by the same development team as Metroid. Zero Mission had an homage to it, in the 3 "unknown items". They are the same thing as the "sacred treasures" in Kid Icarus (the original that is, not Uprising). They have different names and look different but have the same function. Infinite jump, underwater travel, and shots that pierce enemies. Kid Icarus is like Metroid's long lost (fraternal) twin brother.

I picked up Kid Icarus after Chugga Conroy started his lets play of it and I was really impressed by it. Its great fun to play and its characters are just a joy to experience from start to finish.

Kid Icarus Uprising may be my favourite game on the 3DS. Almost everything about it was amazing. The multiplayer was really really cool, too! My only negative thing to say about it is that I wish it wouldn't take 15 years for a sequel.

We really need another Kid Icarus. Uprising was one of my favorite games for the 3DS and it was so addicting. I feel bad that Arlo didn’t get to experience the multiplayer because it was really fun and wild. It’s amazing how much content Sakurari packed in that game.

I NEED to see a new kid ikerus game for the switch. It was such a gem! Great emotion story, music, and great gameplay over all! It really caught my attention and I ended up replaying it way more than I usually do in most games.

Imagine if Luigi's mansion 3 tied in with odyssey, and had the hat ghosts turning evil and possessing different animals and objects to try and wreak havoc. I can just imagine the title being similar to yoshi's island. "Luigi's Mansion : Super Mario Odyssey 2"

Though Arlo what was your first video game console and what was it like to get it? Mine was a Silver GameCube, I got it when I was 6. I did not even know about video games, what they were but I guess that was the huge changing point in my life I guess. I probably would be a jock if I did not get that GC

Wow. I never realized how much of super smash bros for the 3ds came from kid Icarus. Makes sense though. Same thing happened with Kirby.

I got Kid Icarus Uprising when I was 12 and found out my mom had lung cancer. Super stressful time in my life, and that game gave me such a wonderful escape. The story had me entranced, and the repeatability kept me coming back over and over. It's portability let me bring it everywhere between being dragged to doctor's appointments. Seriously one of my favorite games ever. If you have a 3ds and don't own this game, get it.

I have wanted Kid Icarus 2 ever since (well, before) I finished Kid Icarus. What a fantastic game. Now I wanna play through the whole thing again!

Not to mention Kid Icarus's huge, catchy and FULLY ORCHESTRATED SOUNDTRACK, even though it is only a 3DS game. It just shows the lengths Nintendo went to make this game as great as it is.
