Hey Bro! Gonna get going on my diy long travel pretty soon, any tips or tricks you could offer? I already have OE uppers and lowers, I'll probably use SPC upper ball joints for fine adjustments
@@treehouseoffroad right on. First and foremost don’t skimp on the quality of the materials you use. You’ll thank me for this later .. Use quality joints and heims ..dom tube minimum but chromoly if you can. For the uppers I’d put heims on the chassis side and keep your lower cam bolt eliminated stay 3.5” wider per side so you can get aftermarket shafts to keep your 4wd. Build a jig one for each side so you can map out the stock components and have baselines for your measurements personally I’d move the tire 2” forward like I did on my truck. If you have any questions please hit me up on insta or even here and I’ll do what I can.
We didn't end up having time. Hit him up in his comments he always replies. I can tell you he's running the Solo Motorsports +3.5in 4wd kit, 37's, fiberglass fenders, with a hand brake, ann he keeps his ride super clean. Also gets between 6-7 mpg lol. Sick ass Sequoia though for sure!
