@treehouseoffroad Im getting ready to build my first set of LT axles for a tundra. Assuming everything is in proper working condition, and the grease is good, is there any reason you couldn't just pop the ends off, pop them back on the extended mid shaft, add a little grease, and run it, without taking the cage apart and reassembling it? Btw, hope the new business is keeping you busy!

The pipe was a few inches longer than the shaft right?

although my truck is an F150 the ONLY way to get that outter off was by cutting the axle. No matter how much smacking and slamming I did it took a cut off wheel

It's all about articulation, the more the better imo. It's very easy to do, are you hesitant for some reason? I think leaving part of the inner boot is for the 4runner style joint that isn't round. The trimmed inner boot provides a round surface to clamp the 930 boot to.

@@treehouseoffroad ur previous axles had machine work from the company in Missouri for additional angle ..was it the same work u just did to the inner joints of ur long axles? That inner joint collar removal?

@@DonaldReynoldsII My previous axles were just remans from CVJ in Denver. They did not come with the lip cut off

Your best bet is to give them a call, that way you get exactly what you need the first time.

@@treehouseoffroad also those King 2.5 shocks for the rear do not fit the Sequoia because of the bypass reservoir that's why they broke the mechanic that initially started working on my truck installed them he should have never done that. I went down there the other day and the other mechanic showed me that they didn't fit no matter which way you turn them. So total chaos needs to revamp their long travel kit for the Sequoia and what it is is pretty much the same kit they sell for the 4Runner she didn't bother to tell me that I needed to dual shocks in the front. So if you know anyone that wants to buy a total chaos long travel kit for a Toyota Sequoia. They're going to need to do some modifying. Why would she tell me it needs a DualShock and not included in the kit .. really kind of disappointed with total chaos.. although they are awesome. They have obviously never installed it on a Sequoia. So now we are just going to relocate them outboard.. I figure if you ever come out to Arizona we could go do the back way to crown King. I'm sure you've heard of that trail. It's pretty famous people come from all over just to do it. It starts in Phoenix and goes all the way to crown King it's a small mining town between Prescott and Phoenix. But if you don't want to do that I know the other ones we can do.

@@treehouseoffroad sorry for the long-winded text I ate some mushrooms. I grow them for my own mental health. I don't eat a lot and I don't do it to get high I only eat like half a gram for anxiety depression and PTSD way better than anyting the VA or my psychiatrist has given me. I don't have to take it everyday like other medications I only do it once or twice a month and I haven't had an outburst of anger or been upset in almost 2 years. And if you take niacin which I believe it is B3 along with it it counteracts the psychedelic effect and you don't feel it so it's like taking a Tylenol but you still get the medicinal value. I do smoke marijuana and I don't drink at all those are the only things that I do.

African level work? That may be the nicest but definitely the weirdest compliment I've ever received, thank you!!! Carbon fiber drive shaft is a no-go for me. I've scraped and dented my drive shaft multiple times and I can only imagine if it was carbon fiber I may have been dead in the water.
