Oh the memories. This was where I started. My 1st starter was amazing. Mana vault, royal assassin and birds of paradise. Also got a hippy, lure and Serra angel. Hence why I played for a while. It was a sealed deck tournament and I had no idea what I had at the time.

Why a thumbs down? This is where I started 4th edition. Passed on a bunch of revised decks as I wanted the new decks. Love the old card smell!

You and some of the guys should do a vintage sealed product tourney. You could open the packs on camera and go through the deck building process. Maybe some Ice Age, 4th Edition, Fallen Empires.

When playing Hurkyl's Recall be sure to cast it and use the voice of Steve Urkel. When it resolves rub some salt in the wound and say “ Did I do that??! “

Revised and 4e had reprints of cards and no one bats an eyes. Chronicles comes out with reprints of cards and everyone loses their minds.
