Justify the nonsense however you like. Tired of always being told of some far off consequence or problem to justify shitty human activity in my backyard
The BLM NEEDS TO LEAVE the wild horses alone. These horses are families and are broken up, causing mental issues. They are now showing up in the slotter pipeline (Mexico). Watch the horse shelter heroes. Tennessee shelters are seeing them in their shelters. Leave mother nature take care of them, they'll be happier with there family's. Debbie
Unfortunately as much as this is something you feel like you need to monitor. Wild animals have been around for millions and thousands of years in these exact conditions with drought and over population. The fact with these conditions they are still around says something. Just with wildfires were preventing these things from performing its natural behavior witch can disrupt the eco system and climate witch has nothing to do with climate change in this sense.
And this is a conflict that I have because I am a huge Horse person but you have to understand yes wild animals and horses have been around since the Don of their evolution but horses were never native to America or southern America the first horses were brought over by Spanish conquistadors in the south the horses that escaped from ranches in from boats and eventually when there was no need for the warhorses a lot of them were just let go some of the herd stayed down south but a lot of them migrated north towards the plains there’s a lot of horses out there andSadly the industrialization of America is forcing their land to be smaller and smaller which creates more and more of an issue
@@tiyman.2811 Their ancestors were here in North America during the ice age, way before the Spanish reintroduced them back into America. You can find their skeleton's in America and research on proof in the history books and museums.
If there are too many horses out there then why are the ranches wanting to put cattle in place of horses. You don't know the difference between cattle and horse grazing patterns? Not much of a an informed person, are you?
Please leave them alone . If I had the ways and means I would take some. I love them. Build aqueducts to capture the melting snow. Build retention ponds Avoid flooding and people losing their homes. Relocate
Nature knows how to keep the balance pray that one day you will need them for transportation, because an EMP fried all the electronics systems including your car.
@@MarcusAurelius7777and they don’t do anything to anyone what’s the problem that’s literally saying theirs to many people witch people I think are a bigger problem than horses and their are bigger problems in this world they aren’t like boars idiot
The argument FOR necessity of management is a distractive argument. A large corral with hay and water is one much cheaper way; they get used to using it. Then can be caught in smaller corrals. With caring observers the essential bonding groups can be kept so the social support so necessary to horse well being are not totally disrupted.
Honestly they should use the birth control to prevent further breeding, the safe ones. It's proven to be safe and NOT effective to change their behavior nor breeding. Running the horses too far in roundups can cause death and damage, it happened to infamous Cloud's son Flint.
BLM needs to be removed from granting ranchers' leases on public lands. Give it to state dept of Wildlife, then let's see what animal gets classified as environmentally destructive, like domestic cattle.
Voluntary reductions in livestock grazing (4:55) don't change land-use plans. When conditions improve, grazing will resume at normal levels. The area can support more wild horses, but those resources have been assigned to the ranchers.
True, the ranchers greed is despicable on cases like these. Back on the time they would shoot the bison from a moving train now it could be the horses.
Visit a BLM corral. There are entire pans full of foals. Gathers are done in late summer so most foals, who are normally born in the spring, handle gathers well. A few of the rare late summer foals MAY have trouble, but those foals are at greater risk of death from the droughts and from the upcoming harsh winters as well. The time for gathers is chosen in part to be the best time for the foals.
I'm sorry but wild horses are an invasive species and should be treated as such here in Kentucky there are several areas where people just take horses and dump them they reproduced to the point where they're a nuisance. I don't care how beautiful you think these horses are they're not supposed to be here in the wild.
I am sick of how the wild horses are being treated. How low can someone get to mistreat animals for money. There is no danger involved rounding up horse if done humanely. This is real animal , neglect all behind greed. It is down right disgusting and sick to see and hear about the poor and ignorant performance of BLM worker who work with these animals.
To everyone who says "leave the horses be" Or "Let them be free" you need to go out there and see them starving to death. Yearlings, pregnant mares, old horses, all starving because they don't have enough food. They don't have enough food because there's too many horses out there. If you didn't know these animals are not actually wild, but they are feral. They were not originally here, and OUR own people put them out long ago, they survived, bred with the Spanish horses and BAM Mustangs.. So please do your research before you start saying "let them stay free or w/e". I love horses very much and personally train Mustangs as well as domesticated horses. You sitting there behind your keyboard trying to shame others who are ACTUALLY trying to help the horses is not helping.
Jeez 🤢 I certainly hope you’re wrong. Mexico and France are big on eating horse meat but I can’t even imagine…Pizza Hut! it would drive me to becoming a vegan.
Wild Horses have far exceeded their numbers, we can legally hunt deers, bears, alligators and others but horses are off limit. Americas special interest is driving this country into the ground.
