@@stehfreejesseah7893 you obviously haven't seen a fox get a squirel before cause it's impressive to watch a fox manipulate an animal into getting eaten.
@@kennyblackbird5674Not to mention the fact that the fox was SO predictable. "Let me run around from the other side for the 100th time. Eventually Mr. Cat won't figure out my secret plan of attack and then I'll get him!" I just have to keep trying!" . . . "Dang! He got me again!"
Just a heads up, as someone who has studied fox conservation for eight years: Foxes do not attack cats. This is a very common misconception. Negative fox/cat encounters are exceedingly rare and are usually initiated by the cat, as foxes are naturally skittish animals who will avoid confrontation. These two are merely playing.
These 2 clearly know each other and are having fun. I used to watch wild fox cubs near my sister’s house, playing with 2 or 3 of the local cats. The cats were only about 6 months old, as were the fox cubs. They used to play hide and seek and jump about gleefully when they found each other. It was so cute and very cheering.
Especially when its against a fox who just plays with it! If it had decided to attack the cat it would be a very easy target just sitting there like that 😂
This is probably a baby fox. Still learning and playing. They look like friends just having fun. Like the movie, the Fox and the Hound. This is the Fox & the Cat
@@toombs5818 Aside from Fennec Foxes, which people got as pets for a while now, recently there's a whole breed of Foxes created to be dog-like in behviour, that you can get as pets. A Dog is still better though since Foxes like to be active at night and their excrements are extremely smelly.
They may live together and be companions for the most part. But thus kitty is not loving this interaction.kitty trying to warn fox to F off. But fix wants to annoy. Read the room foxy. Kitty not in the mood for your BS right now
@@FayeFeefox is playing. Kitty slowly getting annoyed. Ears are starting to go bk and kitty hissed or warning meow at the end. Cats don't generally like to be harassed, mouthed and rough housed for the most part. If the fox had got close enough,it would have started mouthing the cat,but kitty does not want to be a fox's chew toy, in play or not.
This Cat Is Like A Kung Fu Master...He Uses His Ears And Eyes Timing The Fox's Rythym Like You Said...Cats Are Already Some Of The Best Natural Boxers With Their Speed And Accuracy..And Here He's Double Jabbing To Perfection...The Fox Changes Direction Thinking He's Got The Cat Beat But I Guess The Cat Is Foxier Than The Fox Afterall
The cat can hear his every footstep on those pine needles easy. These guys are play buddies. My cats played with my Racoons for years but killed possum's that came their yard.
Our family cat (Garfield) was an orange cat and the king of the hood. He used to pretend to not mind at all and then gave the other cats a big slap, which did lead to heated discussions with neighbours. He also went after small to medium sized dogs and used to follow us to the bakery until about 7, waiting outside like a dog. RIP, he died 2 weeks ago but with 18 years of badassery (ok, last 3 he retired) he had a great cat life.
@@blub2121 Aww, I'm so sorry to hear of Garfield's passing, but thank you for sharing some of his adventures with us.. He sounds like he was amazing and quite the character!
Btw animals can't even sweat. That is only a human thing. Edit: btw the sweat is caused by overheating, the sweat is there to cool humans down from inside. Cat and dogs cool down by releasing heat from thier ears. That's why they are also so big you can put in a finger.
@@tian3092 and I was trying to just inform some people. I didnt think he actually meant that the cat didn't sweat. It just means that it was done with ease.
@@christianharrison5982 Cats are around 100-159 ms, mongooses are are around 20-30 ms, making them 4-5 times faster than a cat under certain conditions. Fastest animal reaction times appear to be held by the froghopper or spittlebug, around 5 ms.
@@Loshe_ I mean, does it look a bit scared? Not taking proper defense positions and just retaliating by slapping the fox, doesn't seem a bit threathened to me.
@@susannahmay766 No way. Both fox and cat are holding back big time. Have you ever seen animals in a fight for their life? The cat would not just sit there casually batting the fox. It would be up the tree in a fraction of a second. This is not disneyland.
This is probably a, sanctuary of some sort and there's a house cat that fits in with everyone. Or it might be a Rescue and the fix is fairly domesticated. Looks like buddies. A lot of species do this.
@@Aylii1he's not. Small cats, like the cats that people have can do it. Obviously it's harder for a lion or a tiger to dodge an arrow, but yeah. Smaller cats can do it, and there are lots of videos with cats fighting snakes.
@@youngstowny Antelope can hear the vibration of the bow after an arrow is shot so they literally dodge arrows after release. It's why they carry extra arrows in their hands and push the bow rather than release the string.
😂 Kitty's ears are up, not laid back in fear, anger or any kind of danger... They are BFF's 4 sure!!!. This is adorable, even if the fox IS a wild(probably not cause nocturnal) they know each other like litter mates!
@@anitachapple3065 I was thinking the same I gave five cats and you get to know when they are a grey, scared or just plan messing around like this very young fix and cat are doing😹😹😹the cat would be up in the tree if it was frighten or scared but the cats body language is totally relaxed and in play mode😹😹
I think so! The cat was sitting by the tree and then you see fox go around the tree and peek at the cat for a first slap. If he was intent on doing harm to the cat, he would have gone straight to the cat and the cat would have run away or face the fox and have it out right there instead of playing peekaboo 😅
Good thing their friends. Good for me too as mines here in bed under the covers and if she wanted, just like the wife ,she could emasculate me in the blink of an eye
