Fox Body Magnaflow exhaust vs Flowmaster exhaust. 

Straight pipe is the real exhaust it needs.

My notch is running a b-cam and bbk shorty headers, no cats. The Saleen is bone stock.

Running a chambered muffler will kill some power but if it's the sound you are after you'll probably never notice the 10-25whp loss.

Very little to no drone at all. It sounds good when you go under overpasses on the interstate and rev it up.

I actually have them in my building. They have welded down pipes on them which would need to be cut off. I didn't like the drone from the downpipes.

Shortys and x-pipe.

I agree. I'm planning on leaving the Magnaflows on the 92 and switching my h-pipe to an x-pipe on my 89 Saleen.

After owning 31 different Stangs of various vintage and having swapped exhaust setups almost as often as socks for normal folks, I figured out something for my personal tastes : I always preferred the sound of an H pipe with a pushrod engine and the X with my earlier Mod motor stuff. Changed opinion again with my recent S-550 and enjoyed the H on there with the Steeda catback setup. They all sound pretty good to my ears, it’s just that last little bit of finesse though lol Anyway, thanks for sharing. Your Foxes are nice !!!

Thanks for your feedback. I just completed filming for an updated video today. I put off-road h-pipes on the flowmasters to even out the competition. It sounds awesome now. Video will be uploaded on Monday November 27th.

Correct- Super 44's. The rest of the exhaust is stock including the headers and CATS. I have some straight pipes to install in the future with some aftermarket headers. Should sound very nice after that.
