Fox News Has a Hard Time Processing the Las Vegas Shooting: The Daily Show

It says a lot that a channel called "Comedy Central" has more journalistic integrity than a channel called "Fox News"

The coward killed almost 60 people. I don't need any other details to despise him, nor does anyone else. What they were really saying was, "Well, he's white, so we don't have an excuse to marginalize anyone based on his race or religion except ourselves, and we're not doing that."

Respect is not neglecting to talk about issues and problems. You don't respect the police by pretending they never do anything wrong.

I started this video without carefully reading the title, thinking this was about the recent Florida school shooting, and I was so confused. I thought another had already happened. Then I googled it and was horrified to learn another one already HAS. This is the country we live in now? This happens so often, some aren't even newsworthy. What the actual hell. I feel so broken.

Ok, I'm a European and watching all this drama unfold from the sidelines with some worry...but what I really don't get: How is kneeling disrespectful? In older times people knelt for their king out of respect, kneeling in prayer is quite common in a lot of religions and it's not uncommon for people to kneel when they propose to someone. Kneeling during the national anthem is the most respectful form of protest I can think of.

As a military veteran I will take a knee anytime I want even during the national anthem. I left some of my blood overseas so you and I have the freedom to do just that. If you don’t like it, to bad for you.

People need to stop trying to tie this massive loss of life to the kneeling thing. Kneeling to address police brutality (I.E: the abusive officers, not _all_ officers) shouldn't even be tied back to a man shooting down concert goers. These people are just leaping some major mental hurdles to turn this into something it's not.
