I'm working on adding hair jigs into my arsenal for walleyes, I know that some days they can be extremely effective when the bite is tough. Thanks for watching!
Great content! I was fishing the same day but on the left side of the fishing dock. Sadly no bites and two accidental snags on two walleye. I also went fishing today and decided to try near your spot. Even tho the water was chocolate milk. Still seemed to be able to catch ‘em. Definitely used some of your tips. Much thanks!
Hey man, really enjoyed the video. Never seen a stinger pitching jigs before, can you make a quick video on how you tie that up and the specs on what line/hooks you run.
Glad you enjoyed the video. The setup I used was a 1/4 oz or 3/8 oz Fireball jig with a 3 inch piece of 12 lb Fluorocarbon to a size 10 or size 12 treble hook on the end.
Never fished up north before, planning to come that way on April 15, How long does the run typically last and I really dont want to drive alone and waste time so it would be great to have a place where I can be successful from the bank. Is this area close to the airport?
Its hard to guarantee success with fishing, but if I had to guess I would say that the post-spawn walleye bite should be good around the 15th. And yes the Green Bay airport is only 15 minutes away.
