As an italian, thank you sir for your service. We have not forgotten when US army (and our beloved partisans) has saved our country from fascists. WWII veterans are still greatest heroes for many of us and we will always remember you, even when the last of them will be passed away. This man deserves the best he can get: i can't do nothing for him be i will be forever grateful for his and all WWII veteran's sacrifice. With all my love, from Italy.

Sad to say about our own countries, but I bet ANY North American WWII vet that was suffering in any way and could somehow make their way to the Netherlands?! I bet they'd quickly find themselves set for life (I realize that the "minor" issue is leaving everyone and everything you know... It's never THAT simple lol)
