Very informative. I am doing a 4cyl to 5.0 swap and I have a A9P. The fuel pump is not priming when I turn the key and the car is not starting. Going to follow these steps and see what happens.
That’s either going to be the constant power, the ring that connects to starter relay plus side (12v constant) or whatever wire i Have labeled in their as fuel pump key on power. Good luck!
Hey man, great video. I did everything you suggested except the speed sensor wires, and it doesn't seem to be working for me. Any suggestions? I pulled the engine out of a running 93 .
What’s it doing? Is the fuel pump priming? Very hard to say from just limited information. The red wire with the green stripe is critical. That supplies power to the ECU relay. Make sure you have the ground wire at the computer grounded out, the green wire off the field injector harness grounded out to the bell housing, and I believe there’s one more ground upfront near where the battery would go on a fox body. The steady power comes from the wires that had a terminal that just goes on the positive side of the relay.
