Have you ever heard one screaming in the middle of the night? The *most* blood curdling thing I’ve ever heard, right outside my window. My mind conjured up a giant black demon with red glowing eyes. Even the cats were petrified. My daughter laughed at me the next morning and asked if I’d never heard a fox before. I lived for decades surrounded by foxes and the answer was nope, not like that. I still have my doubts…😂
In Korean folklore foxes are said to make this noise as they stalk drunken wayfarers traveling alone in the night--their aim: to eat the traveler's liver.

When I lived in London in England, I woke up panicked, sweating, scared.. thinking that someone was torturing an infant. It was just the neighbourhood foxes.
I would never say they look like a dog, neither acts and work like one. Doe looking how they are careful around everything yet very playful reminds them of my neighboars cats ^^ Also from a distance they kinda look like cats too..
Why did we never domesticate these in our history of being humans? We have failed as humans for our lack of domesticating these things sooner. We domesticated some weird horned thing that produces white liquid before we attempted to domesticate this. We domesticated something that either likes fainting or ramming us off cliffs before domesticating this. Heck, we even domesticated the NUMBER ONE THREAT to our electrical and informational grid (i.e. squirrels) before domesticating this.
@@SephirothRyu i think fox are one of the harder ones to domesticate to be frank. you can just google and find out about most of those things, I don't think you're making correct generalizations. who's to say we haven't domesticated foxes for a long time, but if they're hard to domesticate there's just going to be less of them around in general of course.

I mean they really are. It's just those foxes have been domesticated to some extent. But they're still very smart and dangerous animals. Still, I'd probably die wanting to pet one xD
