Thanks for trying the Gamechangers. A few tips. 1. if the insole feels "Hard" Its because you need to trim the sides. You may not think you need to but whent he foam gets compressed on the side walls it can't flex properly. 2. FP can be remolded over and over again to different shoes. You're going to want to do this if you switch from narrow to wide shoes like vans and converse

Dude thank you for this. Bought a pair of gamechangers, heated them at 235 for 8 mins, walked around in them for a couple hours, it was all good. But as soon as they cooled down completely, they became as hard as a board. Like the foam lost nearly all compressibility. I asked FP if this was normal, and they sent me a second pair. Went through the same process again, and got the same result. You confirmed that this is normal. So if you guys are expecting the FP Gamechangers to be comfortable for anything other than skating, don't plan on it. For me, they became pretty damn hard and made my feet sore and slightly numb.

It surprised me to see a Vans Rowan sitting on top of a Solovair box in the thumbnail. Looks pretty similar to my shoe collection! Solovairs are the only non-skate shoe you'll ever need.

Yep. I’m a cupsole guy myself. Cons weapons are the best shoes I’ve ever skated. Back when converse was using lunarlon still. I swear that shoe gave me super powers

I'm having some 8mm insoles made with similar materials. They will also be heat moldable orthotics. They'll be 8mm all the way through. Insoles should actually be one thickness all the way through, especially orthotics. The orthotic insert I'll be using can also handle more shock than the average insert. If interested, I'll message you when they are done being made. A flat shoe is actually best for using a good heat moldable orthotic. I use New Balance vulcanized shoes with my prototype orthotics.

You probably should have rebaked the insole when you switched shoes or when your situation changed with weight placement.

Nice review! I heard that some FP insoles help support people with torn acls or weak joints. What are your thoughts on that? I'm currently contemplating on either the Gamechanger Custom Orthotics or the Elite Kingfoams.

I wore the rowans for a while and had to put in a charcoal insole on top of the pop cush, mabey you could do the same with the fp's. Although the charcoal insole was very thin and not put in to give impact protection

Hey I only skate Rowan pros and half cabs but my feet are trashed I have to wear plastic orthotics under my big insoles which worked ok for about a year but since the new vans came out they don’t fit in there anymore. Did the rowans still skate fine with the insole what do you mean by feels like extra room but isn’t? Do your feet move inside the shoe? Sorry for the long question 🥵😂
