Szobo is a great shout. I had him in my plans since Arne Slow was announced, we knew he will play a 10 behind the striker and Szobo was the only one that's fit for the role. He is also an adept free kick taker and he only costs 6.5. Only Bailey, Nkunku and Johnson who I'd consider over him.
@@daboydudus3912 his g+a potential is way lower than the others and I trust bigger teams with better players to make more of their chances. Obviously he can prove me wrong but I like a safer bet
@@PazLeBon Well, I would not agree entirely. Chess has a lot of complexity. I would say FPL is a game with 15 pieces, whereas for each piece you have a decision space and a decision to make on each gameweek. Budget and chips come as additional dimensions
@@Larravok there are still 450 players to select every week veus 10m plauers with the same 450 pieces so i tthink a fair anaology altho wasnt exactly meant to be precise discussion lol ;)
Hi Fran, I’ve gone with a very weird draft but i think it could pay off extremely well. Haaland, Isak, Wood Son, Bowen, Gordon, Eze, Nkunku All 4.5 mil defenders Raya + 4.0 mil goalkeeper. Son over Salah speaks for itself. 2.5 mil cheaper, scored more pts than Salah last season and Salah is playing in a new system. Why is everyone sleeping on Bowen? 1 less pt than Gordon last season and 5 less than Ødegaard. Plus he is playing in a new system. Thoughts?
I do think it's quite imbalanced on defense but up to you. I'm not sure if Bowen is overlooked, he isn't, but fixtures are quite poor to start. I don't also look at points as a good indication of the future or how to assess a 'run'. We're not trying to build a S&F team mind you
@@FPLFran lolnopem just a regular football fan that doesnt need silly slogans as tho they are official things haha. wasnt being horrible, more its funny
I think this is a really strong and unique Haaland build. For me, given the bonus point changes, I think going triple premium defense could be an interesting development that becomes more common. I think it would be really hard to do that in a Haaland draft, but I think you can create a strong midfield while going big on defense due to the great 6.5-7.5 options in midfield and solid attackers from 8-9 with Watkins, Isak and Kai should you forgo Haaland.
@@PazLeBon I agree, and as a result should likely make the Defenders on the best teams more valuable as they will concede less goals. It should widen the gap between the defenders on truly elite teams and defenders on teams that are just solid. Basically, Arsenal and City are just a different class. Trent or Robbo could be grouped in as well as Liverpool is a step down defensively from those 2, but way better than the rest and their attacking output is so high.
@@jackfink9316 not that simple tho, its always comparing say a saliba and barnes or a braithwaite and gordon. 1.5m is a jump in attacking options that can usually haul more points if they bag a brace and get the bonus
@@PazLeBon I think I prefer having access to the Arsenal defense this year as they are just so consistent and even against big sides, Arteta has shown that he can set up the team to keep a clean sheet. They are just head and shoulders above with their defensive record and are a good play every week. For me, I’m comfortable with a lot of the 6.5 options as well as Eze and have felt like I’m not overly compensating in midfield.
