In this video I take you behind the scenes on my FPS/Tower Defense game in Godot entry to the Ludum Dare 46 game jam competition.
Ludum Dare is a 72 hour game jam for indie game devs around the world and inspires thousands of people each year to produce their very own video game.
Due to time constraints this year, I unfortunately had very little time to participate but I wanted to share my progress with you all and hopefully you can take some inspiration that even in a short amount of time you can make your very own video game!

WOW those are some really nice models! Have you heard of Asset Forge? It looks like the modes took a while to do, AF let’s you essentially kitbash models together. It works pretty well, but wow those models look really great

Cool game, the only thing missing is a feedback when hitting a target like particles or making the target transparent. I had made a similar game but in 2D with a sentry gun and enemies approaching, the difference is that we had no weapon and we needed to dodge enemies and find overclock packs and plug them in the sentry to make it fire faster for few seconds otherwise the enemies spawned faster than the rate they were killed. To make it more difficult each time an enemy was spawned the timer to spawn the next one was reduced. I haven't uploaded it, it's not advanced enough compared to my other jam games.

Thanks for the feedback! There's a very subtle "hit" sound if you hit an enemy with a bullet, kinda like call of duty. But yes you're right, the enemies need damage feedback. Your game sounds really interesting!
