I'm a huge gearhead I friggin love engine sounds whether the engine fits in the palm of your hand or whether you can sit on the piston while it's at the bottom of the cylinder. And so when I build an FPV RC, it's gonna be nitro powered. I have two currently, a 1.3m airplane powered by a Saito 40, and a 1/7 2wd dune buggy powered by a Kyosho KE-25. They both sound AMAZING and I have video on my channel for both models first and third person.
Nice video well explained . I have the mr steel 6s apex build with the Audi Mic and the mr steel ear bud and really like it, I have been trying to find a mic suitable for my 4s build as just like you mention in the video it’s a pain trying to listen from a distance, the delay is really of putting, I may try one of the ones you’ve suggested. I have a question, what is an Arudino?
Arduinos are open source softwares and hardwares that people use to program all sorts of things to do stuff. Kind of like a raspberry pi but I believe more capable. Usually Amazon mics that are capable of being soldered to a quad are arduino compatible too
Great vid man!!!! I'm just getting into fpv and have my first quad coming in a couple weeks and I definitely want to be able to hear my quad I know alot of guys don't like to but I think being able to hear how my quad is acting can be beneficial definitely 👍

Lol I have little drones and had a dji phantom 3 before so I know how to fly but fpv freestyle quads is a whole different ball game lol I really want audio on my first quad so I will be doing whatever I need to install it I suck at soldering so I'm going to have to practice lol this vid helped answer my questions alot thanks again man👍✌
Like to hear the sound of a well tuned and powerful quad. I believe it enhances the effect when powerlooping & climbing up for a building dive like Mr. Steele. On the other hand, the sound of the toy brushed drones gets annoying fast. I would like to hear my brushless motors on my Meteor75 and Meteor65 for adjustments to throttle and roll, but it still isn't the same as a 5".
You have no idea how amazing audio is until you FPV a nitro model. Ain't nothin' like hearing a Saito 40 thrumming along happily in 3rd person on one ear and in 1st on the other ear.
@@supafpv1759 as far as I know there is no FPV audio for DJI goggles. It took me several packs to get used to it but I can live without audio if I'm getting HD in the goggles.
Awesome video. I like to be able to hear my kwad. I noticed when flying from inside a car or house. I'm more likely to be heavy on the throttle. I haven't tried ear buds yet, My vtx dose have a mic.🤔 Thanks man I'll have to give that a shot.👍🏻
