31" Scratch built FPV flying wing made out of depron and carbon strips using the KFm-4 Airfoil.
This is a build video put together from multiple different builds. It's mostly so "you get the idea" when making your own :)

Incredible stable for high quality FPV footage!
The wing is made out of one sheet of 6mm depron. It has 3 main layers 6+6+6mm and a middle bay large enough for a 4S battery.

This is the successor of the FPV49. All components has been built into the wing for a more true KFm-4 airfoil.

I made this plane and flight it as my first model ever. I'm so happy. Thank you a lot!!! Performs excellent but fast. Made of foam, weights about 900gr.

@FPVTrond previously I had been flying 3d printed RC plank "Stormbird" by StuntDouble, my FPV gear is Caddx Ratel with 2W vtx (cheap Aliexpress) , Sunnysky x2216 , 1250kv motor with 1045 car on nylon props. HSKRC 45A esc. I found that my 3d printed Stormbird with fpv AUW is 1.2 kg (including 2200mAH lipo 3S) Now I wanted to try out Foam wing, I wanted to scale your FPV31 by 1.25 scale factor, making it's wingspan into 100cm , I love big wingspan as large as Stormbird.

@@FPVTrond I found out that my 3d printed plane frame is quite heavy. (1080 gram, no battery, h743 wing FC, 2x9g Servo, 1 m carbon spar, 75 gram x2216 motor, 2Watt vtx with Ratel Camera analog).

We have tested with 4S batteries from 1300mAh to 3300mAh. I personally like to fly with a lighter wing so i use 4S 1550mAh. for 3300mAh you have to modify the 3d printed bay if you plan to use a larger battery like that (remove some of the plastic at the back inside the bay). With 1550mAh i typically fly between 10 to 15 minutes without being conservative on throttle. If you plan to fly with a 3300mAh ish battery i would recommend using a little more powerful ESC/Motor compared to what i recommend.

Hello. There is a drawing on the video at 0.36 seconds. The center of gravity is indicated there. How far is it from the trailing edge?

Hi, better to just look at the drawings in the drop box link. they are more updated and you will also find CG there. 18,7cm from the nose or 12,7cm from the back where motor is mounted.

I usually print the horns in revision 3 and 4 dropbox folder. My cura settings is for standard PLA. Haven't tested with prusaslicer. What errors do you get?

@@FPVTrond Hello, my prusaSlicer is in french, but english traduction say "Empty layers detected, output would not be printable " this is the error. same thing in Cura. Thanks

@@macbenac777 Hi, sorry for not responding sooner. I draw in sketchup and export to stl. The files are far from perfect however, i haven't had any issues printing them on ender 3 via Cura and "standard" settings for PLA.
