Hope the guide was easy to understand, had to remake the video because of corruption so I had to redo another recording and edit😓, but I feel this redo is better than the last one😅. Cheers though😄.

the 2,2 combo puts you in nss and then you have empowered flash^^ they often want to hit you after 2,2 so you can launch them :) @@mortgarson7504

Another decent guide. You didn't mention frame traps though and how confirms work. Also, in my opinion the creepy background music doesn't help focus on the content, maybe try replacing it in future vids. Looking forward to more Yoshi content from your channel, cheers!

I did show frame traps. Yoshi's 3,1 - flea into f2 can contest with the opps reaction if they try to press buttons they'll get hit by manji 2. Also, what about confirms? This video isn't about confirming hits. It's learning frame data.

@@delusional-lobo All good. I would consider a frame trap a move that punishes the opp when they try to move or side step rather than jab. Ofc I may be wrong here. About confirms, I think it fits in the frame data section because you would confirm a hit when extremely positive and knowing in which cases would fit here. Anyhow I appreciate the work you put into these videos, tyvm.

@SerAlthur ahh I see, frame traps for me is when you mix in moves in which the opponent has to block in order to find the gap to either dodge or attack. But seeing that most opps like to attack they get tricked into the next attack for a launch or another sequence of frame traps. Which is more or so the same as you've said. Glad the video was helpful in some way😄

My only criticism is that your video makes it seem like being +1 on block will make it so that there's a difference of 2 frames between your opponent and you, since you both added the frames to their startup and subtracted it from yours.

That is not the message I was trying to convey. What I am showing is the lower number is inherently faster in this context of Frame Data, the 9-frame would win against the 11-frame move. I've also stated that numbers don't change the actual properties of the frames as they just mean how you'll recover from them. I've only conveyed it that way for simplicity's sake. I hope I didn't confuse you😓
