Alright! Finally on five! 🔥Stair riding on five wheels is _absolutely dope._ Feels so stable and controlled. I think you're gonna love it - well, probably you're _already_ loving it. 🤘

That was badass. Bill have you heard of a very little-known skater named SkateSam Ghana? He's making some seriously cool videos around his city in Ghana and seems to have a pretty nice little community. It's so cool to see this sport/lifestyle helping people to stay active and engaged across all walks of life. Cheers from Florida!

As an ex freestyle iceskater I prefer Powerslide Zoom 100 Pro Triskates which I have tweaked by rotating the rear & front wheels as they wear but not the middle wheel, resulting in an incremental rocker over time, giving a highly manoeuvreable experience just like when I was on ice..... = happy skater. Melvin. Nelson Mandela Bay South Africa. PS. Your skating style is insane/WOW!

Wow these look cool! I want my inlines to feel more like my hockey ice skates and this might be the ticket. I am rolling on NN Dragon+ 5 wheels now and want a bit more aggressive rocker. I might have to try these frames to get that effortless rocker that ice has.

Haven’t tried the Arc CS, but I’ve been skating my standard Arc for months and adore them. Even though their primary design goal was flatland skating, I think they’re an amazing urban/city frame. I wonder at times if they’ll take the place of my Endless 90s my favorite urban frame. I’m skating 84s on the outside with “black axle up” rocker, which is the most subtle rocker they offer.
@matthaffner6848
@matthaffner6848 Год назад
I have the CS and switched the axel from least to most rockered recently. It's a world of difference. Less stable and can't quite get the same bite on strides, but the pivots and swivels are unreal.

Weird title, but good video, I was guessing you would enjoy this frame. I love rockered frames I wish more skates would come stock with rockered. Don't really like the freestyle rockering though, it seems too unstable front to back.

4 and 3 here. Thanks Endless frames for letting me do both and not need to buy a second frame just for a tri-set up. I kinda saw a grapevine in your Bentway shots. Maybe soon!? Or hopefully it will be in the winter on ice, where it's a lot easier to learn.

Great video as usual Bill. Here's what I think. Please test that frame against your rockered 4x80 from your Crossfire and tell us if there are any big differences? Thank you!!!!! Ah BTW: No problem looking clumsy. We would love to see your progression as you learn more Wizard moves.

I'd consider rockered 5 wheels for some more stability and smooth swiveling, which is also why I like a 4x90 rocker. But I keep wanting to go back to my rockered 3x125mm with a short wheel base of 252mm. The way that glides while still keeping much of the swivel, it just feels like flying 🤩
@revolutionunderground
@revolutionunderground 11 месяцев назад
What frames allow this?
@InlinePilot
@InlinePilot 11 месяцев назад
@@revolutionunderground the Trinity Iqon Decode 90 frames. They don't officially support larger than 110mm wheels, but on my Next size 42/43 boot it only required placing a standard 8mm washer ring in between the frame and the boot on each of the two front frame bolts, so that the front wheels do not rub against the boot. I haven't seen any other frame that allows for such a short rockered 125mm setup.

I have the regular Endless Arc 5 and they're pretty swively! I imagine this CS version is even more swively!
@endlessblading
@endlessblading Год назад
I would say it’s the same amount of swively as the standard Arc when you have the black axles dot down. The CS frame is a scaled down version of its bigger sibling. However if you explore any of the other rocker positions then it definitely becomes even more agile and figure skate like.
@SunriseSkaters
@SunriseSkaters Год назад
Yup 5 wheels here all the way. Frame length for stability and rockered for manoeuvrability - best of both worlds! Tried the endless 90's and just didn't work for me. With a large foot they were too short. But found the 5x80 NN frames just a tad too long and found a sweetspot with the 5x72mm setup from Rockin' Frames just the best! Low centre of gravity makes for a mad street skate setup. Can't get enough of them! Enjoy your 5 wheel setup!
@LadyBovine
@LadyBovine 8 месяцев назад
And what worlds do the long length sticking out far past the boot and small wheel diameter with relatively poor speed retention belong to? I'm sure these are great fun, but I always find it annoying when people call something "the best of both worlds", as if there are only two characteristics to something and somehow these magic setups that avoid compromises. I'm probably just a grumpy cunt though, to be honest.

My next setup is going to be a five wheel x 84mm frame setup - mainly because I'm at the top end of the spectrum being 202 cm's tall and size 13 - 47 euro, giving me a slightly longer wheel base which will fit more naturally I think for my frame, and I think will suit city skating a bit more for me...

Have this exact same setup. Love the ARC CS. Not as fast as other frames once you get cruising, but very fun and agile. I also enjoy the Endless 90 more for cruising the city, but this frame is just so much fun if you're going to be on nicer terrain. This might be the only sleek looking 5 wheel frame on the market. For me it's 6. I have a 6 wheels VIIRoll skate. It has 3-3 wheels on both sides in V shape and the middle axel is a rocker so it turns very easily and super stable. You can put any size big wheel into it and it just rolls over any bad road what my city has a lot.

I skate 3 wheel 125mm...I'm a bearing snob and changing 20 bearings instead of 12 sounds expensive as well as rotating so many wheels. But when I can afford it I want to try it :)

3x110 because they are faster than 4x80 but somehow still very maneuvrable and they clear dirt and cracks/ rough surfaces with ease. Only ttade off is less braking surface 3 instead of 4 to slow down things.

so far i m on the stock rb 80 mm frames and i m really happy with the level of high-speed stability, agility (really sharp turns), gentleness on the ankles and acceleration. but recently, i am seriously considering to check out endless frames either the 90 or the arc 5 (i have boot size EU48).I m curious: do the endless frames (arc 5 or 90) offer the same level of effortless transition-"sliding" one has when skating on really wet smooth asphalt? So is it possible to transition from front to back easily without the need to leave the ground even a little bit?? I imagine, with the arc 5, ideally centered one has contact with the ground only with the middle wheel, correct?

@StephanieLaw
@StephanieLaw Год назад
I have been using them since March. Skating 3-4 times per week on them at 1-3 hour sessions, I wore a set of wheels down to the core after 4 months (my 68mm were down to 52mm). I did have to do some odd wheel rotations, but the rocker felt good the whole time. For me, I find that for the 76s, the middle wheel gets the highest wear by far, so I have to do a juggling rotation of the 76s into that position
@endlessblading
@endlessblading Год назад
@@StephanieLawHi Stephanie! To clarify…this is using the front and rear wheels rockered up in that max position right? It should be noted that extreme rocker setup is going to accentuate the wear of the center 3 wheels.

Hm... I always feel a bit wobbly at speed with 5 small rockered wheels but the combination of a long but super agile frame is somewhat intriguing 🤔 Atm I like my NN Sumo very much, they fit my skate style nicely 😍
@markoliberty7581
@markoliberty7581 Год назад
Does a Trinity frame give more stability, because of its 3-point attachment? I bought some Rollerblade Twister XT with 4 wheels, it has a 2-point mounting frame (160mm), I guess it's called UFS. But at a bit higher speeds it gets wobbly too. But perhaps because I am a beginner, don't know, I just go straight 😂
@ericbernardi8116
@ericbernardi8116 Год назад
@@markoliberty7581 the shorter the frame the more unstable you are at speed. But it also depends on how many wheels make contact to the ground and how far apart they are... You can't be maneuverable and stable with the same frame setup... The Trinity does not give much of that kind of stability but better edge control and sideways "support", it feels a bit like standing on a platform instead of balancing on a rope. The best compromise for stabilty and maneuverability is a 4x100 rockered frame like Endless 100RB... If you want to try Trinity I would recommend the Next charcoal 90, it comes with a frame lenght just between ordinary 90 and 100 and you can either use it rockered or flat and it's lower and easier to skate than a 100 😄
@liquidflorian

How would you rotate wheels in the this set up?
@endlessblading

One strategy is to swap the following wheels across skates and flip: 1 and 5, 2 and 4, 3 and 3. Another is to just swap straight across.
