I said it before and I ll say it again, this woman was soooooo underrated it back in the 90s! I dont remember hearing much about her in the media while Aniston and other actresses were getting a lot of attention. Fran was one of the most beautiful women on TV back then
she was extremely popular in Australia in the 90s, her show was the NO. 1 comedy!! not to mention that she was nominated for 2 emmys in 1996 and 97' :) I agree with ya!
Criminally underrated. I think it was because of the slightly older age and voice. Which really sucks considering her show is just as funny and she CARRIED it.
@@sallysmith8408 I believe so , too. And her clothing, too. Whats funny is that her clothes were ICONIC and she was criticized for that, but years later Lady Gaga was getting praised for her attention-seeking-lame-desperatelooking outfits. While Fran carried every single outfit she wore with ease.
I love the outfits she wears on The Nanny . She for sure has the body for them . She had flare for sure and everything else. Just like t h e opening song describes her . That for sure is how she became the Nanny
@@nygirl7195 Nice one! It's a true NY'r accent, that's for certain. 🤣I lived in the city, then in Woodside. I took the 7 train countless times to go shopping on Main Street. But, I live in the UK now.
I crashed Fran's birthday party at the Mondrian and her security asked if I could stay and she said yes, and I watched her swim alone in the pool for a long time, what a wonderful woman I enjoyed the party got kinda drunk. Fran, GOD BLESS you and yours ✝️🌹🎶. 🖤👽
The Nanny, was a perfect all round comedy show! Loved all the characters, the ending was the best;I can still see her in the off white outfit with the bowl hat. She looked so sophisticated and teary eyed closing the door to their old home; to start their new life. A beautiful stunning (funny) woman.
Yes and the Nanny would be a huge success. In large part because it was an absolute treat to look at Fran. Didn't matter if you are male, female, gay or straight. She's a vision. This woman is smart as a whip too. Likely one reason she is now the Screen Actors Guild President.
her family in the nanny is based off off her real family! there's another story where her mother (Sylvia Drescher) said to her when the pilot first aired in 1993 "You're making our family look like we have no class!" she was holding a sandwich and all the sauce was going down her hand onto her arm lol!
Seriously? He just wanted to shut her up! And yet, here I am wanting to hear more from her! I know she can ramble on for a bit, but I always found her anecdotes intriguing!
