I Know He Is The Funniest, The Episode Where NILE'S Tries To Get MAX To Admit His Feelings For FRAN, It's Hilarious, & The THING No Will Talk About, NILES Is Such A YENTA.
She loved him for him, not for his money. While everyone other woman wanted him just for his money. This shows especially with how much his children love Fran
@@MB-dg3lrshe definitely wanted him for his money, just not in a gold digger way because she did have her own. remember how she treated Niles when he proposed? she wanted someone within her social class and didn’t care about anything else. absolutely shallow woman until she said yes to Niles.
@james5400 : This is why so many viewers deeply adored my FRANNY. She did not care about his money or wealth. She loved MAXY because of what the man himself, truly was : An affectionate , caring , compassionate, charismatic and warmhearted human being.
@spirals 73; I've heard several times the southern accent is the closest to what old British used to sound like, so it fits that his British is so damn convincing. It's so convincing I was actually offended that he wasn't British what I found out. Lol
@@sara1coco : RAY ROMANO - DAVID SCHWIMMER AND CHARLES SHAUGHNESSY. 3 FANTASTIC, HANDSOME - LOOKING GUYS, WHO MADE THEIR TV SHOWS EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL, BY FALLING ROMANTICALLY IN LOVE, WITH THEIR ADORABLE SWEETHEARTS IN THE 1990's. REFERRING OF COURSE TO , DEBRA WHELEN - RACHEL GREEN AND FRANCINE '' FRANNY '' FINE.
@@sara1coco : Monica Geller and Chandler Bing, desserved to be mentioned here. Brilliantly portrayed by Courtney Cox and the late Matthew Perry, on F.R.I.E.N.D.S.
4:36 is a perfect encapsulation of what made Niles so great No hesitation, no second thoughts, and no regrets. He immediately knows how to play this for maximum enjoyment for himself and, far more importantly, maximum horror and pain for CC
Dont forget there first dance at her reunion and the best part about her wedding day was when she had him tell her why he loved her, in words she could understand.
@StefanyxHerrera: You have to understand, that there is a VERY BIG DIFFRENCE in comparison between character television couples, and REAL LIFE married couples. Because you were young at the time, nobody was able to explain this type of new environment, that you have just started to experience for the very first time in your life. Welcome to the REAL WORLD, sweetie !!
With all due respect, television's WORST COUPLE of the 1990' s, was JERRY SEINFELD and ELAINE BENES. Together, they were absolutely pathetic. I never liked SEINFELD. Just watched it, for the fun of it and to see those 4 stupid winos, get exactly what they desserved. The real title of the show, should have been called, THE PARASITES.
@juliag.5114 : Perhaps the saddest episode of the entire series, in which viewers drew their hearts and adoring affections for FRANNY, was the one called, AN AFFAIR TO DISMEMBER. Season 4, Episode 8. The angelic beauty, left heartbroken and crying on the dock of New York Harbour, while that heartless creep, Nigel Sheffield sails away into the night, aboard his germ - infested, cruise ship. Unlike MAXY, it proved beyond any doubt, just what kind of uncaring, selfish individual Nigel truly was. Believe me, he NEVER LOVED FRANNY. MAXWELL 'S jealous brother, was really USING HER. We were all so happy, that he did not show up for MAXY and FRANNY's romantic wedding. A great relief to many viewers who saw that magical episode, exactly 27 years ago in 1999.
@juliag.5114 : Incredibly, the entire soundstage in which the scene was filmed, went completely SILENT. Not a sound of laughter or a tiny speck of coughing, was heard across the studio. Perhaps the tears, that were shed from millions of eyes, was simply too much for audience and viewers to bear with overwhelming sadness which all of us, felt very deeply in our hearts that unforgettable night back in November of 1996 ! FRANNY, WE LOVE YOU, SWEETHEART !!
@frankiedeans7637: Yes, you WERE in love with my FRANNY . But my personal romance with the sweet, dark - haired, angelic cutie, is STILL GROWING MORE STRONGER AND COMPLETLY SOLIDIFIED THAN EVER BEFORE, EXACTLY 31 YEARS LATER !!
one moment that always cracked me up was when Fran congratulated Max with a kiss after he got a Tony, then CC got annoyed and said "What about me!?" so Fran kissed her too xD
One of my absolute favorites and these 2 were absolutely fantabulous together !!! They had absolutely amazing chemistry, like you could feel the romance and nothing more other than i just love them, so cute. Making me miss the good old days :( Thank-you for uploading and PLEASE keep them coming, you have made my day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd like to thank Fran and everyone in the show for the happy moments they gave us. My mum and I watched it together. We loved Fran so much that in 1999 we rescued a stray puppy and named her "Fran", because we knew how much she loves dogs. Mum passed in Aug. 2006 but watching these great videos once and again brings back sweet memories of her. Blessings from Argentina to all those who made The Nanny.❤
My favorite part of Fran and Max was that it was planned from the start and teased at the get go. It wasn't thrown in later on like on most sitcoms. (Looking at you, C.C. and Niles)
@@tatianaallen7098 : Funny that i have never noticed it. And i absolutely watched all 6 full seasons of THE NANNY. Both on cable television, and dvd home video.
@aesinam : He was an extremely handsome, and wonderful BEST MAN at MAXY and FRANNY's romantic wedding ceremony, which took place on Wednesday night May 13, 1998. The highest - rated episode, ever established for a hit sitcom in modern television history.
I used to look forward to this show all the time when it was on TV. NYC people have that certain appeal, sense of humor, etc. Who would have thought that I would be "be in a similar situation" in my fantasy world today?😊
@johngood8107 : If i was to have a NANNY like FRANNY, i would have not put her to work, right away. On the contrary, i would have immediately MARRIED her.
@@johngood8107 : Sometimes, dreams can be beautiful because it gives individuals like us, an idea of what would have been like, had the whole scenario, became REAL LIFE, instead of a fairy - tale, make - believe dream.
647 : I was a handsome 33 year - old adult, when the series made its television premiere in 1993. The moment that my romantic crush on FRANNY DRESCHER , immediately soared to astronomical proportions.
This should've included the first flirtatious glance they gave each other on the Pilot episode after he comments on her using lipstick for her "resume" - they're so into each other it's wild!!
I don’t understand how the ratings dropped after they got married. It was one of the few shows that the spark was still there after two main characters end up together. 🤷🏾♀️

She was asked once why she chose that time to end the show. She explained they were still having good ratings, but she wanted to go out while they were in a good place The story was left to take it's time to grow and in the end we all got the pay off. She didn't want to be the guest that never left. Have show that stayed too long with dying ratings where the network finally pulled the plug. Pretty lady with smarts, awesome show with a fun talented cast.
6944 : You mean 1999. That is when the award should have been given to MAXY and FRANNY, when the show ended it's triumphant 6 - year run on Wednesday night June 23rd, 1999.
4349 : Together, MAXY and FRANNY were simply magical. No couple before or after, will be able to match the fantastic chemistry, that they created so beautifully during the show's successful, 6 - year run on CBS from 1993 to 1999.
@shayannisha4920 : Loved how Sylvia, FRANNY's mom, gave the evil eye to the wedding guests making sure, that no one stepped out of line and say something that would live to regret it, for the rest of their lives.
@shayannisha4920 : This is why the congregation was at its best behaviour, by keeping their mouths totally shut, or else they would have had one big knuckle sandwich coming their way, courtesy of FRANNY's mom Sylvia and we all know the type of aggresive reputation , she proudly possesses whenever she gets furious or angry. So please, watch out !
Please make a translation into Indonesian. Since I was little, I have liked watching the Nany on national TV shows and now there are no more. Luckily The Nanny is broadcast on RU-vid, I'm very happy. Thank You.
@meganjaime7728 : Speaking of classic NANNY moments from the show, the scene where a damped and extremelly soggy Mr. Sheffield, rushes into the van to rescue his FRANNY from criminals who kidnapped her beloved pooch, should have ended with the 2 adorable love - birds wrapped up in a romantic embrace, sharing a sweet, passionate KISS together. A magical, beautiful moment that would have virtually moved millions of viewers, in front of their television sets that evening. Even today, CBS executives deeply regret the decision of not including that romantic, enchanting scene to the episode titled, '' FRANSON. '' Episode - 4, Season - 5. A monumental, horrendous mistake that CBS still regrets making, many long years later.
@goldwillow12: The show is currently available on home video dvd. It is never too late to pick one up, either by internet or at your local video distributor, near you.
@rimamari486 : If your cable provider does not have THE NANNY on its list, you can always pick up a copy of the collector's edition dvd boxed set, either from the internet, or at a local video retailer near you. Good luck.
@tdsollog : RU-vid would never post them, due to copyright infrigements. Only way to get THE NANNY is either on cable tv, or dvd home video. The choice is yours.
Her real name is FRANCINE JOY DRESCHER, according to her birth certificate, exactly like her character name, FRANCINE JOY FINE on THE NANNY. A PROUD AND TRULY GLAMOROUS FELLOW NEW YORKER.
@rodicarodi5091 : When you have a couple like MAXY and FRANNY become instant stars of a classic sitcom like THE NANNY, you will know right away that the show itself, would become a phenomenal success which is exactly how it really turned out.
@q7jdwomfvkbj74 : Better have your eyes examined, soon. When it came to fashion and style, nobody did it so radiantly and so glamorous, quite like my FRANNY. CC was nothing more than a poor, cheap woman in rags which is exactly what she was on the show.
Loved this show 100% but at the moment they got married and became a couple all the fun was kinda over…. It changed the essence of it all…. But still stays great fun watching the old episodes thru the years 👍🏻🥳
@Maricalo87 : There is always the collector's edition dvd boxed set of the show, that you can order it through the internet, or buy it at a local video retailer near you.
I loved this show when I was a little girl. But now that I'm older I feel like their liking for each other was based alot on her looks and his money. Now that I'm older I have more appreciation for niles and CC.
It did start that way but you could tell they genuinely loved each other. An example is when his father left everything to Conscepsion. Fran didn't just up and leave, she was prepared to live with him and even help financially
Yeah nothing to do with the fact that she supported his work, she's wonderful with his children, he's patient and doesn't just marry her right off for the kids, his appreciation of her, and their fun banter. Like come on.
