We arrived in Orleans after a long ride that included a stop at the palce of Chambord. That was amazing but Orelans in the evening light was also beautiful. The cathedral and avenue Jean d'Arc, the old town, and the riverside with locals relaxing and hanging out as the sun set. A wonderful calming and relaxing video for treadmill virtual walk.

Orleans is really an awesome and beautiful area of France especially in the Loire Valley there, also nice looking buildings and streets to walk down with nice weather and of course cafes and restaurants to eat at, I'm really enjoying the tour of this beautiful part of France Thank You and have a wonderful fourth of July this week Henry. 🇨🇵🎇🎆🎇🎆🇺🇸

The mix of old and newish buildings is due to the fact that Orléans like the other Loire towns was bombed in WWII. The historic centre mostly survived, but other parts of the town were rebuilt in that unmissable 1950's post- war reconstruction style.

Thank you for this walk. I loved the waterfront area. Glad you included it. Could the City of New Orleans, USA have been named by French who were remined of this city in France.
