he is only 18 years old, he is a prodigy, the puffed cheeks dont matter here, is just a technique, and he sounds perfect.

Think so, but in other vids it looks like a Super 80 Series II or III. Probably has them all. The newer ones have better intonation. Of course, a player of this caliber do anything he wants with pitch. Awesome tone in every vid I've watched.

well...puffed cheeks worked for dizzy. one's techniques and form are simply a means to an end. i agree with u in that i feel puffed cheeks compromise one's control but with Francesco this aint the case. his sound is much more powerful and resonant than some who don't puff cheeks.

The kids focused and playing his patootie off. What do you want him to do, swing his horn all over like a smooth jazz player who can't hold a candle to this?

@oldhawk4123
@oldhawk4123 4 года назад
@Thouveninpascal
@Thouveninpascal Год назад

@Thouveninpascal

@SELMER1947

Great, but that sound is intolerable--needlessly agressive. Stop overblowing and tune up. listen to more Phil Woods and absorb sound and intonation. The way you play you don't need to drive a nail thru the listener's head to get noticed! Maybe switch to tenor...
