Wow!!! I love how you can see the humility that rugby players have. Most of all the captains of the teams. Seem like real gentlemen off the field. There's a sense you can get from them that aren't in any other sport.
Well, that was a good prediction! France did win the six nations. I think he also said in an interview in SA that England would be to beat in the RWC back in 2003 and he said the Springboks were gonna win the RWC 2007. And both teams did just that! One could almost place bets based on his predicitons/opinion. ;-)
@TheJay9002 Agree with a lot you wrote but allow me to interject that Arabs (Persians), Chinese and Japanese for example were very advanced, as much as a Millenium before the rise of the Roman Empire, which brought civilisation and order (conquest, pillage and war) to Europe. And after the Roman Empire fell apart, the Arabs were lightyears ahead in matters of science. Or else we'd all be doing long division with Roman numerals.
im a white man from europe; I'm sickened by a lot of the stuff that europeans did. But im a realist: I believe that if arab, african, chinese or indian people had advanced first they would have done the same. we have done a lot of bad things in this world, but we have also done a lot of good. I hope that one day people of every race will be able to stand together and fight for each other.
@capowable Well, you know what they say about soccer. It's a gentleman's game played by hooligans. On the other hand, rugby is a hooligans game played by gentlemen.
