I hate the fact too how they captured family hypocrisy too it's disgusting and amazing how right it is. like Marie gives debra such a hard time all the time mostly because Marie didn't choose her and all in all that dont even matter too, she wants someone who will bend to her will. Debra really doesn't like ever really, Amy sorta does but not but then yeah. She hates Debra because Ray did choose her and just gives her a hard time out of spite really. Tho she still gets scared of frank when she shouldn't in a way he was and is on her side not Marie's also like I think that is why she doesn't like him because Frank likes her too. That one where she wants to cook for ray and Marie deliberately sabotages the recipe so the meatballs to come out bad so they keep asking her to cook and to show up Debra. She was also the only lady in the family that stuck that cooks too and since that's what she does best well she felt "threatened" which is bull because she wants to feel needed and in control too. Frank is just scary at times but like he will listen to her and agree with her, she gets scared too which I understand but she confronts him tho at times I think. I do think Deb knows to have Ray do it because well it's his family and they listen to him because he's the prodigy child or something lol.

That’s cause she’s a bully and can get away with yelling and abusing her husband but Frank actually pushes back on her atrocious attitude.

People always say how Debra’s a victim for being stuck with Ray and putting up with Marie and Frank. But the fact that she walks all over Ray and makes him fight her battles against his parents shows she truly is nothing but a bully; it’s easy to pick on Ray because he’s a wuss but she’s scared of her in-laws because she has no power over them.
