He's got loads of good valid points, very good. The problem is, you can't criticise them about money n cost n salary, say how clubs struggle, coaches train theses kids for free, then go around and advertise coaching seminars st the cost of £30 pp, it's contradictory, that just my opinion.

Gugy Singh in Kilmarnock is a prime example of an unsung hero let’s the guys that fight out of his gym train for free on days/nights that pad work sessions aren’t on etc and paid nights are only £2 to learn from a guy with great boxing knowledge its a blessing living in the same vicinity as his shop/gym top guy and for the limited size in the shop gym it’s loved by all the fighters that train there it’s old school gritty and generally just all ye need, big up Gug 👏🥊🔥

The squads should be a rolling 12 month picks because once they have there squads, regardless off performance they will be getting picked too represent there country over boys that are in form and deserve a shot for the country but cant get a look in because the lads in the squad will always be favoured, a good school boy boxer doesn't mean they are the same boxer as a junior or youth or elite yet they very rarely get dropped once they are in the Scotland team, everyone needs the chance too fight internationally if there performances give them the right, thr only way too be fair too every boxer is too pick squad on a yearly bases based on there results for the year.

Not hugely informed on this, but I think there's a lot to be learned from the Cuban system for sport (good and bad). They've consistently created amazing talent from government funded centres and training. They scout their talent from a young age for different sports and employ them and try to inspire ambition with rewards for success. It is heavily focused on competition between your fellow countrymen, and house the competition with each other. They SEE their competition, they see the rewards that no.1 gets and they want to take his spot. Some people these days might see that as too rough, but look at the Cuban boxers and wrestlers. Their Olympic record is impressive.

Absolute nonsense Frank. Sit down & stop talking shite. Club standards have dipped from your days. New structure required. Embrace it.

Telling Frank he has no right to the opinion he has been asked on to express? You'd do well in North Korea Robert 😅
