Frank Gore is the most underappreciated underrated player in the history of the NFL. A pro's pro, hard work ethic, natural ability, tough, smart, and leads by example. 1st ballot HOF no questions asked.
@@XternalStarz Ken "The Rattler" Riley was never put into a pro bowl in his entire 15 year career. He's the Bengals all time leader in interceptions and has the 5th most interceptions all time at 65 throughout his career. He was also the head of one of the most dominant secondaries in NFL history, "The Snake Pit" with Lamar Parish, and Tommy Casanova, and Ken Riley. He's still not in the HoF and has recently passed away this year.
The Niners need to resign him for his final year in the NFL so he can retire with the team he began with. As a SF fan I always been a Gore fan and still am one. Keep those legs running #21, keep those legs running....
Is no one gonna mention that this dude has the best narrator voice I've ever heard. When his legs fall off I need him doing audio books and documentaries
It's kind of like Maurice Jones-Drew with the Jags. He had nothing around him and they stacked the box everytime but he would still get it going and wreck people. The problem was the Jags never got better and they ran him into the dirt. I have no idea how Gore is still doing it today
His son is draft eligible in 2 years. Of all positions to see the 1st Ken Griffey Sr/Jr or Gordie Howe/Mark Howe moment in the NFL, I wouldn't have expected the closest be RB. I'm rooting for this to happen
The most amazing Frank Gore stat is over 1,200 yards from scrimmage 12 consecutive seasons. Only player in history at any position to do that. Flashy? No. But so damn solid and steady year in and year out. He's earned a Hall Of Fame invitation the hard way.
@@johnsvlogsandgames2891 What are you talking about? Weebs are the most normie mainstream thing out there, you don’t even know what you are talking about
And this is the same guy that had two ACL tears at Miami and wasn't supposed to do anything in the NFL other than getting injured. Love it when men like Gore prove all the naysayers wrong!!!
This is a man that has fought hard for everything in his life. He is 37 years old and STILL isn't stopping. He is currently 3rd all time in rushing yards and is chasing for 2nd. I love Frank Gore. I loved watching him run when I was younger and I STILL love watching him at times. Keep doing your thing, Frank.
This video made me cry!! Gore is my favorite player of all time! He was the first player I got a jersey of and I still got that jersey!! He needs to retire a niner
When the niners picked him I was like "His knees won't hold up!" But as a niner fan I stayed the course and he made a fool out of me. One of the greatest running backs to ever play the game!
As a Cardinals fan I Cant wait to see him in canton, May have spent a lot of his career on the 49ers but he’s a legend who I am grateful to have been able to watch on tv and in person a few times
I love being able to have watched legends like him and Larry legends whole career, we don’t see many like them but we have to appreciate men like him in any sport that we see them in.
one of the most inspiring rbs in the nfl... imagine running into them young players in their athletic prime being in your late thirties, shows how dedicated he is
As a Niners fan in Brazil, this man made me love the game of football. 21# is my favorite player ever, and inspired me to be a running back here in my homeland. Looking forward to see this beast back with the Niners, so that I can rep my Gore Jersey.
I’ve always held a soft spot for Frank. He’s not really paid attention to nowadays, but imagine how amazing it is to have a guy tear both his ACL’s, make the NFL and is now a future hall of famer. Honestly crazy.
I am a 49er fan and I love this guy, that said, he transcends the lines drawn by fan bias and the competitive nature of the sport. Frank Gore is a man, not an idol, and yet it's hard not to look at him and think his presence makes the world a little better. He sets an example for us all to strive for. Yeah, how can anyone hear this guy's story and not love him for the man he is. When Frank finally retires, he will have left everything he had on the field, no regrets, and certainly no shame. Frank Gore is a man, and I, for one, am damn glad he didn't give up.
I’m a Bears fan who’s always known that Frank Gore was a great RB. I searched his highlights to get a quick insight on him. This made me gain so much respect for him. Respect, Frank Gore. 🔥 💯
Even though he was beating up my Seahawks, I found that I really like watching him play. Even when we would play the 49ers and I'm yelling at the screen "Stop the little one!!!"... lol. Keep running, Gore. I pray that when you decide you are finally done, that you are healthy so you can continue to enjoy your life.
As a long time 49'ers fan (1979), I can't remember how many times he just shocked me with his talent. I can be as fickle as any fan and would sometimes think "Get him out of the game!" only to be followed by "Frank Rules!" He is a force. Thanks Frank!!
torn two ACLs, but the longevity he has had is amazing. the most undetrated running back of all time. i remember playing at Miami Southridge going up against Gore in the playoffs while he attended Coral Gables high school.
I hope today’s RBs and just any football players in general coming out of high school and college, uses Frank Gore’s model of hard work and work ethics to succeed in the next level. This man is a true legend and future Hall of Famer.
Two RBs I hardly, if ever, saw, get tackled without falling forward for positive, extra yardage: Marcus Allen and Frank Gore. Props Mr. Gore, looking forward to your speech at the hall.
I love Gore. I've loved this man since early 49er days. He is a true "never stop giving it your all" player in the game and life. Now my only question is: Why is the world would over 80 people give this a thumbs down?????
Frank.. u were on the miners thanksg iving game I was wearing the old Maroon jersey and u recognized it getting on the bus and gave me a fist bump. I was on the field entire game. 9ers lost on thanksgiving... U will always be a niner to me.. u r a beast.. now in third of the all times. If u beat them I'll be smiling if u don't., I'll still be smiling.... Love u Frank SF forever!
I’m a eagles fan and I remember him backtracking on chip and going to the colts too bad he could have done great thing’s in Philadelphia behind our Super Bowl caliber line. I have a new respect and appreciation for the man . Both of these dudes will and determination is wonderful to see. Good luck guys I hope you run for decades to come
Always loved frank man. True stud. Had no idea he tore both his knees in college. To go on and have the career he’s had after that is insane and very inspiring.
Frank Gore may be the most underrated player in NFL history. As a 49ers fan I've been watching him my entire life, and even on some pretty tragic teams he was absolutely incredible. I watched him run for 1,600 yards in 2006 on a 7-9 team with a young Alex Smith as his QB. He was always a class act, obviously a great guy, and his longevity is such an inspiration. If he isn't a first-ballot HOFer then we need a new electorate.
As a current distance runner whose training for the Chicago Marathon In 2021 (6th Marathon for me). I ran 1,276 miles alone in 2018. My current bench is 185lbs. I really appreciated this. Thank You NFL. There’s actually been several NFL players post retirement believe it or not to do 5ks, 13.1, and a full marathon. Tiki Barber did the New York Marathon. Jerry Rice both come to mind. Chicago will be my 6th marathon. Frank Gore is a hell of a player. I run 22-32 miles a week. I also lift weights
One of the best rb's to ever do it. And the best 49ers rb ever. He was my favorite player growin up, i still have my medium youth sized frank gore jersey.
Frank Gore and Marshawn Lynch have taught me to have a never quit always keep pushing get knocked down and do it over and over and over until I hit my goal much respect to Frank Gore
Frank Gore made me an NFL fan. Watching him bust some hard runs up the gut and stay on his feet was and still is dome of the best sport to watch. Keep on running, Frank. 🏃♂️
@KiNG DiNGALiNG absolutely. Brunell was probably my first favorite qb. Ppl forget about his wheels. I pray that Daniel Jones can be just what Mark was. Fave backs: Fred Taylor Tiki Barber Napoleon Kaufman Adrian Peterson Clinton Portis
When I drafted him in fantasy football in 2011, I knew NOTHING about football. I was dragged in as an emergency fill-in. I printed out some ESPN rankings lists at positions and drafted Gore accordingly. My friend told me as I asked about him after the pick: "He's really good but he gets hurt a lot." That was before the 2011 season. Since the 2011 season, he has only missed 2 games in 2018. Dude's amazing. And yes, I won my league that year. Props to you, Frank Gore.
