Frank Ntilikina 2018-19 Highlights. The former 8th overall pick is being dangled in trade talks according to several NBA outlets.
He's still an intriguing player in my opinion, though he's been one of the worst players in the league by several metrics, since he entered.

If RJ Barret is the pick...Frank is the absolute best compliment in the back court! Be smart Mills and Perry, you pledged not to look for a “quick fix” holding on to Frank would be proof of that proclamation

This kid knows how to set up his teammates like a seasoned vet. He already plays high level defense on a team whare they need it badly in the backcourt. Everyone is blinded by dunking and scoring. But what Frank does wins championships.

Yeah, the Knicks in an alternate universe are the defending NBA champs, because what Frank has done there is win championships. Unfortunately, we got stuck with the shitty, G league, doppelgänger version.

@@soramirez5473 No, I was not taking that guy literally. I don't think Frank is all that. I think he is weak minded in terms of being a killer on the floor. I look at what players do, not what the scouting reports say. I have seen lots of scrubs in the NBA over the years, and lots of those scrubs are better than Ntlikina.

He was actually doing alright when he was starting. He’s never going to be a big scorer, but he definitely can be a solid pg with top tier defense.

When you look at this video, you wonder why he doesn't do more of it. Yes, I can't help to wonder, but I know why. 1. His confidence gets in the way. 2. Spend a lot of time on the bench because of his confidence. 3. Double think his plays and getting hurt. 4. Worry about what others think. I believe in Frank and looking at these highlight tells me 1. He has a great form when shooting. 2. He can shoot, penetrate, and pass. 3. Plays great defence on 3 positions. 4. Can pass. 5. Has great court awareness. I say we keep him and continue to develope him. He has potential to be a great player.

It’s because Fizdale kept benching him which lowered his confidence in his game. He became afraid to shoot after that.

If the Knicks can only give him about 50 games to start. Man, Frank will be all NBA first defensive team on same season and may also be in the conversation of most improved player. Just give him same chances that Knox, DSJ, and KP got so we can have our first best two way PG in forever.

Our coaching staff has really screwed him up.He’s had an inconsistent role and inconsistent minutes through his career.If we just let him play and let him make mistakes,I think he’d grow into a solid starter.

He is a young kid who is still growing and adjusting to his body. He has the effort and talent to be a lock-down defender and has the work ethic to at least develop a good shot. The ceiling is still so high on him I wouldn't try to force moving him especially now when we aren't win now yet and can still afford to develop him.

a summer with kyrie will get him right. he has a nasty fade away/spin jumper and can be acrobatic at times but hes more of a facilitator than a spot up shooter. the problem is they never let him facilitate or iso this year

I think this kid can play, 6'6", defensive minded, long, rangee, he just needs to get his left hand tight passing keep shooting, hes only 21 with dsjr 23 K20 20, RJ 20 and money Mitch 21, this a good young core I hope they all play in summer league, just to get used to playing together they can win 30 games at least maybe 35 in this nba

He has so much potential, i think he settles for too much jumpers though, instead he can use that size to drive in and power his way to the basket. If he does that more often he can open up the offense a little more. He’s too tentative, most of the time he brings up the ball and passes it and just stands by the 3 point line waiting for someone else to make a play. Thats why this season i would put him at the 2 spot until he can hone his driving abilities and his dribble. He already has some court vision.

some great plays against the nets who i despise now and that 11 is clean idc. 6:25 defense to offense is legit. shot way more 3’s in way less games than his rookie year and only dipped 2%. i can’t believe it’s only his 3rd year it seems like he’s been dealing with so much hate for so long now. i think he’s like 6-8 now too

Fizdale's got his work cut out for him finding minutes for everyone. That said let's see your actual system. In Europe he was bigger and stronger than most guys and the game was a little Fast for him. He's working hard and deserves a shot. Training camp will be interesting

People forget he's still only 20. (21 in July) He needs to work on speeding up his shot and decisiveness. He plays tentative. There's no reason he shouldn't be coming off theses screens and elevating immediately and shooting. Decisive. Especially at the elbow. He has such length. Also, he needs to be working out. And I don't mean just dribbling. I'm talking working his quick twitch muscle fibers and strengthening his core. His body is a little funky. He's got major imbalances. Probably due to him still growing. His mid-section looks soft. It looks as if he has a bit of a pelvic tilt. Which means a protruding belly and butt sticking out. That's a problem. Leads to injuries. He needs to correct that. He needs to be working with a trainer full time getting stronger and working on explosion. Anyway...just my 2 cents. Hope the Knicks keep him and continue to develop him.
