This week we're exploring a little German town in the USA: Frankenmuth, MI. We check out the famous Holz Brücke, the river boats, River Place Shops, and Bronners Christmas Wonderland. Any trip to Frankenmuth wouldn't be complete without a little food tour, so we tried some fudge, pasties from the Pasty Haus, lunch at the Bavarian Inn, and dessert at the Cheese Haus!

my mom used to own a bakery here its was called "kringles" if anyone remembers that it was years ago. it was a Christmas themed bakery we also had a big chair that Santa would sit on to take pictures with him. So that was a fun time i guess

Me, my wife, and two of my sisters were in Frankenmuth June 30th to July 3rd this year. We want to go back in the near future. One of my main reasons for going to Frankenmuth was to visit Bavarian Blacksmith Experience where I forged for the first time a railspike knife. BBE was founded by a Forged in Fire champion; if you've ever seen the show. His name is Josh A. Weston. Of course, we visited a lot of the shops. We stayed at Drury Inn and Suites. About two days after returing home from Frankenmuth, I started feeling homesick for Frankenmuth. That might seem silly to some though. Thank you for your video.

Not sure if you guys will see this, but they are opening a new water park this year, it will be Michigan's largest indoor water park and one of the largest indoor water parks in the United States. Might be a fun trip for you and the kids. It's at the Bavarian in.

Hello! We just found your channel because we are in MI and heading to Frankenmuth tomorrow! We were in the UP for the past month. Loved it. So excited to go to Frankenmuth because Ginger lived in Germany for a few years and loved it. We are excited to follow your adventures. ❤️

That's awesome! We hope you're having a wonderful time in Frankenmuth and Michigan in general. Where in Germany did Ginger live? I (Christine) am an Army brat so my family lived in Germany several times when I was growing up and I still have family there as well, mostly in Bavaria. Can't wait to go back sometime.

Love Frankenmuth!! My mom, myself, and my daughter go here 4 times a year if not more for overnight girl trips. We shop, eat (carry out is the way we go, much cheaper then the all you can eat family style that's now up to $39.99 each), then play cards or board games at night in the hotel. It's also a very dog friendly town. Wouldn't give it or the memories made up for anything! PS...traditional pasties are better with gravy, lol. Thanks for the content, found you cause we are headed on a girls trip to the UP to visit friends in August and I was looking for things I haven't done yet. I love your stuff and subbed.
