"Frankenstein" PC build - New house for the old tech

I changed my old and gigantic full ATX case for something new, smaller, and a bit more fancy.
This is my handmade "Frankenstein case". Completely custom made, with customized RGB lighting (now only "R" 😀). Everything is relatively neatly packed in a much smaller form factor, cables mostly hidden from view, jam packed with displays and whatnot 😀
Highlights of the case are the materials, like the extruded aluminium frame (Makerbeam), perforated aluminium sheets, cut to size by hand, silicone and frosted plastic sheets to spread (and diffuse) the RGB lighting effects, 180 degree power adapters for the gpu and motherboard for a lot cleaner look (as cable management is allready hard enough on this build as is), completely custom hard disk bay, to squeeze them into the tiniest space possible but still allow for airflow, an additional usb hub at the bottom, tight but perfect fit, plus the two displays, one is a 5" secondary display, to play podcasts and whatnot (while work and gaming is done on the main display), and there is a 3,5" display (what directly feeds off the motherboard 5pin usb), to display the temperatures and usage of various components.
It wasn't easy to fit all that together, and jam everything in the smallest possible form factor, but it's about 90% complete, and it works like a charm. The thermals are way better, everything runs a bit cooler, so i can push it a bit more
HW specs :
Ryzen7 2700x - OC @ 4,1Ghz on stock Prism cooler (thanks to the open case and a little undervolting @ 78C under full load). I managed to push it to 4,3Ghz stable, but it ran way too hot, so i dialed it back to a comfortable speed. I might install water cooling later on, but for now i consider it good enough 🍻
Mobo is an Asus Prime b450-Plus
32GB of DDR4 RAM @2,8Ghz (The fastest stable speed what this Ryzen memory controller can handle). 2733Mhz is completely stable, 2800mhz is the absolute limit.
Aorus 1080Ti 11G with a mild OC (there is not much headroom to OC this card, just a tiny bit, 76C under load)
This setup is a great budget friendly combo, old, but it's still pretty capable, and handles whatever you throw at it! You can get such setup used for as cheap as €300. Of course building a case for it is additional cost every time.
For any info on what i used, and how i set up the machine just ask 🍻
