I don’t ever finish TV shows just because it’s such a commitment but I will be finishing the last season of Frasier before the end of the year. These characters, including Eddie, feel like my own damn family. I’ve grown to love them and they’ll live in my heart forever. One of the greatest shows, if not the greatest, of all time.
Moose ceded his role of Eddie to his son Enzo, and on the episode where a neighbor came to the door with a box of puppies, those were Moose's real children as well. What a great dog!
3:20 she tells the story of how Moose was supposed to jump on Marty's chair, which he did; but then he saw the newspaper on the table and positioned it as if he was reading it so the producer kept it in. It must be awesome to have a dog capabale of improv. 😄😄😄😄
A few puppies were bred as possible replacements for Moose, as he aged; one of them, Enzo, did appear in later seasons of the show, and another (Moosie) went to live with Peri Gilpin, who played Roz.
It's crazy how I feel star-struck just by getting to see him as a dog behind the scenes. Like I wouldn't even know what to say or do if I had the opportunity to meet Moose. R.I.P. You will entertain Frasier fans, old and new, for years to come.
Like W.C. Fields said, "never work with dogs or kids" - they'll steal the show every time! This amazing little guy sure did! "Eddie episodes" are my favorites!
RaZeRbLaDeZ: Even if his dates weren't specified online (and they are -- look things up, you'll enjoy it), common sense would tell us that he's gone. The average lifespan for a small dog is about 15 years (large dogs typically have a shorter lifespan), and ''Frasier'' first aired in 1993, which is 25 years ago.
Thank you for uploading! Love Moose so much, what a special little guy! Rest in Peace Moose, and thank you for all your hard work, you were a jewel. :)
Moose is so funny on the show. I really miss Frazier and Moose aka Eddie and I still watch reruns of the show. I can't get enough of great shows like Frazier.
I'd like to know where it's written that you have to have only two legs to win an Emmy. Moose's acting was on par with any other cast member of this show. He deserved at least a couple of nominations for his portrayal of Eddie.
Moose's son took over as Eddie after Moose started to get too old. I can always tell the difference because Moose had the wire hair and his son had the smooth hair, much more like my Jack Russell.
I absolutely adored Moose and Enzo….My Dog Skip is a wonderful and heart wrenching film…especially now that both Boys are gone now!!! Great job Mathilde 🙏💕💙💙👑
I once had a dog looked just like Eddie. If I had watched Frasier @ the time when I adopted him, I would've named him "Eddie"... Instead I named him "Jack" middle name "Russell", J.R. for short. I miss you, My favorite mutt. ❤️
Lovely to see after having to say goodbye to my Nico. He too could drive folks mental but he also was so affectionate, happy and super loyal. Even saved lives a few times with his ‘ I smell trouble ‘ radar. He loved me too and that’s what I miss the most.
Jack Russell's are a UK breed for catching 🐀 But as you can see by Eddie's screen presence they are also the Smartest breed of all, With the courage of a Lion ! . Thank you Trainer Thank You Eddie (Moose). ❤🙏 I Hope their is a star for you on Hollywood's Animal Hall of Fame .
I bought a Jack Russell Terrier after we lost out Cairne Terrier. And Eddie influenced our decision to stay with the terrier breed but a diversion from the Cairnes.
Haha just watched that episode today where he turns up and thought 'oh no'! His accent was so ridiculous and appearances were one of the only things I could criticise about the show. Jane Leaves must have cringed whenever she heard him!
He has that same look as that episode where they give him a sedative. Can't recall which episode, but I remember Fraser's line, "All he needs now is a lava lamp and some sitar music!"
That's funny, I heard that, as soon as the cameras are off and as soon as they're off set, Kelsey's the first one on his hands and knees being even more dog than the dog itself. Can't remember where I heard that now...
I’ll be honest that dog was my least favorite part of this amazing show. I thought he seemed very trained and two dimensional, nothing seemed ‘charismatic’ as she said about him.
