To mark the International Day of Women and Girls in Science on February 11, we are introducing our doctoral student Rahel Kaiser. She studied nanosciences at the University of Basel and is now doing her doctorate at the SNI's PhD School in the Department of Physics. In her research, she is working with the two-dimensional material molybdenum disulphide and is investigating its magnetic properties. She enjoys the diversity of her work and the good collaboration with colleagues.
