I was confused about how to order these picks. Thanks for clearing that up for me.

I've used them years, but I use the thin one. It works best for flat picking, since it's tied to the thumb instead of free-floating, like a regular pick. Also, FYI, you can get them for left handlers. Great picks!

Rich! good to see and hear you playing! personally i've been really enjoying that Dava picks. there's something nice about the way that material sounds, especially on acoustic. and i have a BlueChip pick that i like when i'm playing bass with flatwounds. i subbed of course!

Hey Steve, great to hear from you! I was just listening to Andy J. Pizza’s Creative Pep Talk podcast today and he was saying don’t worry about the numbers just get your art/content out there; It’s the quality of people following that matters, not the numbers. So I’m really glad to grow by one sub today - this one means a lot, thanks man. I looked it up and have seen the Dava picks somewhere before but have yet to give them a spin. I’ll have to look up BlueChip picks because that one doesn’t ring a bell. Hope everything is going good in your corner of the world. Take care.

Thanks for the follow-up. I will have to give it a try. There was a pick called the saddle pick which I wish was still made. Look that up sometime and see what you think. This pick though looks promising for my style. I like that it is a little more loose than the other brand as this will aid in a better, or should say, softer strum if I want it.

You’re welcome, I hope the Bumblebee serves you and your style well. I have seen the saddle pick! It looks more like a shark fin to me than a saddle. I was curious to try it as well but couldn’t find a way to get them either. Too bad, it looked like an interesting idea.

My only concern about these pics as if they rotate while you are doing something like Travis picking? That would be extremely annoying having the pick bounce around everywhere rotating while your thumb Is free, does anybody have any experience with them doing that?

My nails are like paper.. On the fret hand 2 split down the middle. I use 3 coats of a clear hardener and one coat of a good matte finish to hide the shine. However after trying (As far as I know) EVERY fingerpick out there.. I find the material of an Alaskan (Style)pick is the closest to a real nail, but without medical tape they give backward and are too frustrating touse. Forget metal. We NEED a plastic like a pick, thickness around.88 or less for medium, that hug the nail like Tiptonic picks, but hang on..Tiptonic is a great product but they fly off (needing medical tape) They don't put enough glue on them (They have a warming disk for application, to soften the credit card type rubber glue) There are 3 Kings with thumb picks, Strum-N-Comfort, Black Mountain, and Fred Kelly Bumblebee. But metal pick for guitarists? No way! Am I supposed to go through life with nail extentions? Everyone complains Fred Kelly's Freedom picks have no extra large.. EVERYONE! And you have to use medical tape them on cause the material does not go high enough and isn't soft like a pick. They hurt. My fingerpicks fly off. I've been playing for over 50 years. **We need a fingerpick like Tiptonic (Material) with removable quality adhesive (but with a long base) affixed to a (large enough) velcro stap like Stum-N-Comfort. That might stay on. Nail extensions just look weird. (but work fantastic)
