Freddie and Trout need to do a commercial where they are just complimenting eachother and then order pizza and the pizza guy that shows up is Andrew Luck.
As a diehard Braves fan It's an absolute pleasure to read y'alls kind words. Braves nation is thankful for having Freddie and blessed to be able to be a fan during his career. And off the field there's only one troublesome trait with him...He really likes to take his kid deep! Dude's like three or four years old and his dad CRUSHES every pitch from him! HILARIOUS
@@suzanner1630 No. It was post cancer surgery and was considered "high normal" after surgery. I just will never forget what my mind set was at that time though.
He's the kind of guy that's gonna be around the game for a long time. I'd make him a manager right now if he weren't currently the most elite first baseman on the planet. Gonna be hard to keep him out of the HOF.
His HOF chances greatly depends on what he can do in his next few seasons. If he can post two more elite seasons before gracefully ageing into his 40's, he's got a good shot.
@@v2micca Freddie's been playing since I became a fan of the sport seeing him evolve like he has made me certain that not only will he find his reflection in Cooperstown but also that there will never be another Atlanta Brave to wear the number 5 ever again
As a Phillies fan, I watched him hit the scene in 2010 and quickly become one of my least favorite players, but you have to respect his talent and personality. Hes off to a rough start so far this season, but its only 3 games (against the phillies with no hits =]) but if he can put two more seasons together in the same form as 2020, hes a sure thing for Cooperstown.
As a dodger fan and facing him and his team. He’s honestly a great and genuine guy. They also have such great players and very talented and definitely have great attitude. If we Dodgers don’t make it(usually dont😭😭😂) I hope these guys take it all the way!
Agreed. Class acts like Freeman are they kind of players that will be in or around the game for years to come. Management loves a good ball player with an attitude of love and heart of gold.
I really, really, really hope that Atlanta re-signs him and doesn't let him slip through their fingers. He truly is a stand-up guy and a damn good baseball player.
Watching the NLCS from England, seeing the interaction between Freddie and the opponents - at least 2 during manager challenges, first he was leaning on the Dodgers dugout chatting with them, second he was with Max Muncy at 1st base. It struck me how liked and respected he was by everyone. I guess as a 1st baseman you have to be sociable. But Freddie seems to go the extra yard. Game 1 pre-game he was filmed with his family just before the start, and hit a home run in his first AB. Great moment. Hope he gets to the world series after tonight.
I just spent the week watching Freddie rip apart my Dodger pitchers, and while I already knew he was a good dude and a good player, I now realize he is a GREAT dude and a GREAT player. The Braves are lucky to have him, and MLB is lucky, too!
Awh, I'm a dodgers fan but he's so sweet! I hope he has a wonderful career and ATL fans yall put up one hell of a fight and deserve all the respect in the world!
Even as a phillies fan and braves despiser, he's one of my favorite players in sports. I have tried to hate him especially since he kills us, but I just can't
Especially after seeing this video of Freddie Freeman, he has DEFINITELY without a doubt got to be the nicest guy in baseball bar none!!! And this is coming from a die-hard Boston Red Sox fan too!
As a St. Louis Cardinal fan I have always been a fan of Freddie Freeman, he is a true sportsman so congrats on a great WS and finally getting the ring. You deserve it.
Was just talking with my nephew this morning about how some athletes are class acts and some are a-holes. I told him that people like Freddie are the ones to watch and aspire to be like. So professional and personable at the same time.
This guy makes me so proud to be a Braves fan. Reminds me of a different era of baseball in Atlanta. Not to say the current is bad, I love what guys like Dansby and Albies do, it's just a different approach.
In the 70's it was another Atlanta Brave player Dale Murphy. I am a long time Astro's fan. Congrats to the Braves for winning the World Series 2021. Best team won clearly.
As a Braves fan my whole life(from New York no less) I've been blessed with seeing some absolute greats play this game. And Freddie is my favorite out of all of them(Acuña is a super close second)
something tells me Atlanta is the only home Freddie want to have besides with how consistent he has been and how long his career could become the guy could very well be looking at his reflection in Cooperstown after he calls it a career
@@thedude3065 I mean, especially considering just how close Freddie is to guys like Chipper and a lot of the other long-time Braves. I literally can't fathom him being anywhere else.
Wow... What a good dude. Atlanta, you have a lot to look forward to and have a very nice club there that'll be making noise for years to come. Signed: Dodgers fan.
Love this guy !! I was Lucky enough to watch him play with the MS. Braves. And was able to talk to him before the game. Really cool guy ! That’s why he is my favorite player !
I've worn my 95 chipper jones jersey to multiple stadiums..in detroit..in chicago...the only hate I got was the fact it said braves but once they saw the C.Jones 10 on the back they all literally said " oh chipper..I can respect that" ...freeman will get that respect for sure.
I’ve been aBrave fan my entire life, so of course I loved this World Series. And through all the playoff games, seeing Freddie be so friendly with opposing players added to the fun. He’d pat players on the back and greet just about everyone. During the series against the Dodgers, he treated a few like they were is brothers. He is the Ambassador of Baseball! (Ozzie Albees is a close second.)
1:14 Baseball should always be televised like this with a camera on the baserunners on part of the screen, watching guys run the bases is such a cool part of the game we rarely see on TV.
What an absolutely amazing person. After watching this it is so obvious that it is his natural persona. It’s not an act, he is a complete genuine human being. Very rare.
Freeman chose to play on Canada’s baseball team, despite it being a loser’s team in order to honour his late mother; he was born in the US, but both his parents are native Canadian so he’s eligible.
As a Giants fan...I was pulling for the Braves to beat the Astros. I'm happy for them and their fans. I understand long droughts between championships as my Giants went 56 years before they finally won in 2010. Then, they followed in 2012 and the again in 2014. Not to mention...the Braves beat the hated Dodgers to get to the WS.
Baseball sorely needs more players like this fine man, Freddie Freeman. His behavior is one which all players/coaches/managers should strive to emulate! What a class act!
