I’m more impressed that he understands and has conversations in these languages. Anyone could learn to speak a few sentences but to converse is amazing

Native arabic speaker here, his arabic is better when he speaks in singular words, when he speaks in sentences his accent still needs working on, otherwise it’s pretty impressive!

Not true. Chess requires to know tactics and strategies, as well as practicing different situations doing puzzles. Although he is very intelligent, chess has nothing to do with it. Maybe patience does, but intelligence is not related to chess.
@@JuliPaolaS Super Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura did an iQ test and got 101, that's like the most average score ever. So yes, the guy above was somewhat right.

As I read, he obtained 102 and it say when Takamura took the quiz he did not focus so much on it, so most likely his real score is higher ... beyond that I still believe that anyone who is good at chess has a high probability of being very smart (no geniuses either as this only covers 2% of the population)
@@JuliPaolaS planification isn’t a word, you don’t need high intelligence to speak 5 languages or play chess, high intelligence doesn’t make you inherently good at chess. and the guy already has a leg up because he lives in Europe, where students aren’t just taught one language unlike here in the U.S. Even in he UK, a lot of students are taught French or Spanish or some other second language.
I speak Cantonese and English Cantonese being my first language and Cantonese is not Latin roots. I can also speak vacation Mandarin, meaning not fluent but if I needed to ask for something in Mandarin I can. I also have to learn Spanish for High school
Hmm I'm not sure about that. Plus 600h for reaching what level? I speak German so Germanic languge root, whereas I think English belongs to, then I also speak 2 latin languages and Mandarin chinese. I'm now starting my 3th latin languge which will for sure be the easiest at this point but I'll also start a slavic language. Sure it is going to become way easier to learn Serbian in my case, but there aren't many cognates so it will only be easier to learn based on having required the skill of learning languages. I would second guess thou that I would get to a very high level within just 600 hours
I'm a French born English with Chinese and Korean parents, grew up in Paris, moved back to London for University and now living and working in Australia. Born and well equipped with these 4 languages and I'm now learning Italian, which seems quite easy, but when I was learning Cantonese last year, it seems like I would have to learn from scratch as mandarin doesn't help me at all in this....
When other actors said in one words and already considered fluent, he’s right there speak the whole sentence and respond to a conversation. Brilliant. He is the golden ticket.
Ok, this guy is inspiring. He speaks Arabic, wich seems incredibly difficult, gotta give this one to him. His Portuguese though, not so good, weird, cause it's hella easier than Arabic.
@@mr.gilbert2790 bruh... if you speak Spanish, you literally practically already speak Portugese .. no excuse. And Arabic was probably easier for him because of Andalusian Spanish. French is hard for any non french person , so i'm not going to hate for his struggle on that. But he only knows 3.5 langauges if you ask me. 1. English 2. Latin-Ibero 3. West African(aka French) 4. Andalusian (Moro Arabic)

I can agree with you. The only language (that I can form a proper sentence) is English, which is my second. I know veeeery few words French and Greek, but not enough to form a sentence, yet alone speak them. So, my point is that I feel like a lazy dumb person when I see how people like Freddie and Daniel are speaking all those languages. By the way, I'm still learning English as well and I'm seriously questioning my ability of learning one language for so many years 😂

I come from a country were the majority speaks 3-5 languages (you learn 4 at school but people often speak an additional language due to their parents) but I love to see people going out of their way to learn more languages when they live in a country where they don’t have to:)

Andalusian Spanish and Arabic are practically the same language, Catalan is similar to French and Portugese is similar to Spanish in general. Really he only speaks 3 languages English(Germanic-Latin), Iberian(Latin-Portugese, Castillian, Andalusian-Arabic), , French(Germanic,Celt, Latin) but his French sucks.. so he really just knows 2.5. And then if he goes to America, Mexican SPanish and American English are pretty much similar now with the younger generations. Both Mexican Spanish and American English are merging. So by 2040 he will only really now about 2 languages Esperanto and Arabic.
It breaks my heart that timothee chalamet is more famous than him. I've loved his acting ever since he was so little. He's a brilliant actor and the most humble and sincere person.

i don’t think they are comparable, different path at all. for me, Timothee aim to be a “star”, while freddie, obviously he just wants to be an actor, also work behind the scenes.
Who cares about the accents!!! As a native Spanish speaker I find his Spanish quite perfect!! Also, as a french and Portuguese speaker, I can say he did a really good job too! My admiration and respect for this brilliant actor.

Esses dias vim um filme dele com o irmão gêmeo quando era mais novo. E aquele olhar dele para o "nada" é inconfundível. Desde pequeno e na série the good doctor também.
He is good at speaking Arabic as a person who doesn't speak Arabic as his first language. I'm not an Arab, recite the Al-quran and pray using Arabic since I was little but can't have an Arabic accent like him. He's very smart ❤
