Freddie Mercury compilation/funny moments - part two (Reaction) 

They often fought (like a family) in the studio because they were strong-willed individuals creatively. Drummer Roger Taylor said that he and Freddie were the most likely to throw tantrums. He said Brian May would fight more of a "war of attrition" and simply try to outlast the others in an argument. And they also said that every once in a blue moon bass player John Deacon could go off a little, but rarely. But it was almost always about the music and it made them better. Brian said that, in the end, it was usually Freddie that calmed everyone down and got things back on track.

You should react to the Making Of One Vision!!! it is so awesome watching them in the studio, writing and recording the song. I have watched it so many times, it never gets boring and maybe it's just me but I think it gets funnier every time.

Hey L, What is the real impressive thing about the crowd sizes is that they had no use to have massive stages, special effects, or back up musicians or dancers. It was just the 4 of them, their instruments, Fred's mic and a couple of sound engineers. Freddie was hysterical and even like a child in many ways. Young at heart!

I remember when I was 17 or so watching MTV and laughing my butt off at Freddie Mercury every time he was interviewed😂😂😂 he was different on stage even though it’s still silly and having fun. The one thing that the videos doesn’t reflect on is that Freddie Mercury was a very generous person and people used him over and over because he had a lot of money and he was a star. People took advantage of him and that’s why he only really trusted his bandmates and Mary.

Even though the bath scene was most likely supposed to be private and somebody most likely leaked it out, it was still so adorable to see Freddie just have fun and be silly in the comfort of his own home.

I'll add to those suggesting the 20'ish minute video on the making of "One Vision." A very interesting look at their creative process, or, as you put it, "them in their element" creating. On this video, I've never been a fan just because of the bathtub scene. I've always felt that it was something that Freddie assumed would stay private and the alleged friend who shot the video decided to make a few bucks off of it. (I don't know that for a fact, but given how private of a person Freddie was, I can't imagine he wanted in-house videos released -- much like the Garden Lodge tapes.)

I saw that interview on MTV. I think I must’ve been 16 or 17 and laughed. Baaahaa! He and Roger Taylor were unbelievably funny!! It was Roger’s idea that they dressed up in drag for the “ I want to break free” video.

I agree with others that the bathtub scene shouldn't have been included in that video. It was Freddie being silly & playful in private. Everyone's had private moments with a friend or lover they wouldn't want the world to see or would look strange to others. But L., I still enjoyed your reaction to the funny parts. You make us feel like we're sitting, having a bit of fun with a friend.

Every time I watch the wimbly performance I'm just in awe of this man's star power, to have THOUSANDS of people eating out of the palm of his hand. He had their respect, their admiration, they were so eager to share the music with him that they were doing vocal warm ups together like they're all in Freddie's music class.

Eventhough i'm a fan, that bathtub scene makes me feel weird af, I don't know why people added that scene into this. I mean I don't know the truth but it seems like his leaked private video. It's weird to watch his privacy. C'mon guys, that's a bathtub scene! And I feel weird and rude when seeing that. It's a disrespect for him, have to skip that part. Anyway thank you for reacting! I know it’s been a while but I’m surprised no one recommend part 3. More hilarious moments from Freddie. 😄 Or I even recommend Queen’s funniest moments.

Seeing them in the studio is mesmerising! They’re brilliant, all 4 of them! Queen and The Beatles, you’re lucky to get 1. We got 2. Their music will last for centuries like Mozart’s has.

Queen: "Brighton Rock", "White Man" (official versions). White Man by Brian May is told from perspective of Native Americans. It is extremely powerful lyrically. Queen at its best. You will be blown away!!!!

One funny moment was told by a man who was a roadie for Queen for years. He said that in rehearsals, Freddie was singing Radio Gaga as “Fellatio Gaga” and the band kept cracking up. Lol these guys really had a lot of fun, man.

This has the clip I was talking to you about in another video about that daaay oooh da Da da de etc. You had said you thought maybe he was doing it to warm up and I had said that he did this on stage to kind of play with the audience, he was amazing. You have to think as well, back then they didn't have the little earpieces so they can hear themselves or the music or the back music or the crap that they play in singers ears these days so they can stay on tune and they can sound good live. Freddie had to do what he did with his voice without any of that. He needed to know what the key was, where he was and he had to know what he was actually hearing was true and keep his voice where it needed to be. For example Mariah Carey New Year's rockin' Eve couple years ago. Her earpiece stopped. She said I can't hear anything and she just walked around the stage doing nothing saying I can't hear, I guess we're just going to do nothing and she sat on the steps and you could hear her singing, but she wasn't, she was talking to people. She couldn't sing without the stuff being piped into her ear, these guys had to, there was no other option and they did it perfectly song after song, show after show. So miss Mariah and all you other Divas out there who think that, oh I can hit a high high high C so I'm just the best, no you're not because you can't sing unless you have the right crap being piped into your ear. You can't do it without it, you may have some talent but, when these guys did and did it perfectly they did it without any of that technology. you may have talent you may have a nice voice but you will never touch Freddie Mercury

You can see that Freddie was funny and didn’t dick around, plus I can tell that if someone got in his face he would get right back. I wish I new of him he’s just a funny man

I tell you when you look back on these videos and you see him in the studio and alone with his cats he has that endearing, soft quality almost childlike. Like when he was talking to Rodger in one part and he was talking about the drums da da da da psh and he was doing the hand movements, you could see he was just almost like a child talking to Rodger, like there was no bravado and divaness, I guess that's a word now he was just so multifaceted

I don't know why I just thought of this and perhaps someone has already mentioned it.....but did you know that "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen is the happiest song on the planet?

That last clip was from 'The Kenny Everett Show'. There's an interesting documentary called 'When Freddie Met Kenny' you should check out, which chronicles their relationship as friends right up to their deaths.
