I love your reactions with Hank getting his "late" education on Queen. I haven't seen anybody react to La Japonaise from that album. I love it..both Freddie and Montserrat sing in Japanese and English. Freddie wrote the very beautiful music, and flew a translator in from Japan to put the lyrics into Japanese. Freddie loved Japanese culture and did massive amount of shopping there. It was the first place that Queen were treated like massive rock stars. Roger said they felt like "the Beatles".

I have to agree with brother-in-law Hank ad good as Montserrat is and she is an incredible singer it’s just a testament to Freddy that he can keep up with her and not just keep up but he is at her level he is just a fantastic singer has amazing range and has so much emotion truly a great duo when these two decided to work together. imo, his joint venture with Montserrat trumps his Mr. Bad Guy album. Not only did he really like her and she really like him, I think his voice was beautifully suited to sing with her. What a collaboration! Their mutual handholding is adorable too. Glad you are doing these. Thanks.

Astounding! (I said this on your first reaction to this song), for Hank's info Caballe said in an interview that while they sang, she said she saw a tear run down Freddie's cheek. When they are holding hands at 3:13 of the actual video, you can see in his face and eyes that he knew that would be his last live performance.

My heart melts every time I listen to this song, and I‘ve listened to it so very often. Yes, Hank is right, good music is good music. Both of them were on top of their genre, it was such a wonderful match. Freddie was so flattered that she wanted to do g with him. He was a fan, he considered her voice as the most beautiful voice on earth. He said that on Spanish television, and therefor her staff contacted his management, and the rest is history.

lucky as i am ... i met both! freddie in munich (germany) and montsy in wuppertal (germany) .... to hear montsy live in the "wuppertaler stadthalle" and meet her afterwards in private was a great expierence!!! ♥ the signed poster from that day is still hanging on my wall at the stairways for everyone to see! :-) love montsy!!!! ♥♥♥
