The fact his mom kept his clothes and drawings all those years 🥺 During her last visit with Freddie he told her not to visit again. He went into a coma that weekend and passed away the following week. He wanted to protect his mama from watching him die.
India and its parsi community from gujarat and Mumbai are so proud of Freddie. I wished he lived longer. He would have surely returned to see his childhood friends and school that's changed over time. Memories that lied in his past and refreshed them. Proud of Freddie.
@@kikit7262 he was an Indian. How can he be racist to his own people. The people with whom he lived and started his musical career and learnt piano from. How can he be ashamed of the place that made him what he is today, how can he be racist to the country in which he lived for more than 9 years. In his childhood he spent more time in India rather than his family. India is like Freddie's mother country.
@@kikit7262 we will be 50 till then. Probably having children to live that future what we dreamt of. It will be ready before 2050 and will rock the world.
Freddie never ever acknowledged his indian connection. Never ever talked about his time in india nor did he ever come back to india. If anything, he considered himself a Persian but never an Indian. Stop imposing yourselves upon him, he didn't want it.
@@kisi54 what doesn't belong to them? A little googling helps a ton ya know. BTW that's very..... Not good of you to make such a bold statement, based on just your beliefs. POS
Leo Durkin, I was 8 years old, when Freddie Mercury died. I will be listening to Freddie Mercury, and Queen on RU-vid. Freddie Mercury certainly made his mark on the British music charts, his music will live on, forever, not just 100s of years, and in my humble opinion, Freddie Mercury was a legend.
And now I'm 18 yrs old, a non English speaker who have had never listened Rock musics, but I got to know him by a movie called Bohemian - - - - - - -. I fell in love with his works He is absolutely the legend of all times, His musics would never die
I had just turned 2 years old about 2 months before but my earliest memories of music is Radio Ga Ga on the radio 📻 and I’ve been a huge fan as long as I can remember. I want it all is my all time favourite Queen song, tragic loss r.I.p Freddy.
Yes, Freddie Mercury, and his music does live on. He was without question, 1 of the best singers, and songwriters, the world had ever produced. We will never forget his legacy.
Its 2023 and my husband an I still blast Queen on the radio or our Bluetooth speaker when we're driving, cleaning or with friends.. His legacy still lives on. ❤
Oh bless her heart. No one will ever forget Freddie. Bohemian Rhapsody is better known, here in the UK, than the verses of the national anthem! He is beyond iconic, and beyond musical genius. God bless him. I still miss his presence in the world.
These papers should be touched with gloves and not that way, wtf that sketch was on the dirty floor... I'm happy to see her mother looking to save these things in a museum.
He was Indian with a smack of Persian from his dad. Please remember that Indians are highly musical. BTW why do I feel so sad reading about him..I want to believe he is still around.
Freddie was talented the day he was born. Baby photos, singing, painting, designing, sports etc an all rounder. World's best front man above all beautiful, generous human.
Thank you, Mrs Bulsara, and Kashmira Cooke. We still love Freddie Mercury, even though it's nearly 27 years since he died. I watched the interview on The One Show, it made me smile, knowing about Freddie Mercury's heritage, well said, Roger Taylor, for saying "His music will be around for a long time". It still is, and it shows. Sleep well, Freddie, Mr and Mrs Bulsara, and Freddie's partner, Jim Hutton. 😥❤
Gladstone Avenue is off my childhood home street, Rosslyn Avenue. Used to see his dad on his way to work every day. Annoyingly, Freddie had moved out by the time I realised ! He does have a lovely plaque in the pavement in Feltham town centre tho ! :)
I just wish he was alive...He is the greatest vocalist ever in the music world PERIOD, all his singing style is blend of Indian Raga's mixed with western rock tunes .He is from where I am. Although he was born in Zanzibar but his original village is Bulsar(his real name is Farrokh Bulsara) or Valsad-Gujarati from Gujarat state in India. I still talk to his cousins in India. Not many people know that his is Indian. lots of Indian people were disappointed by him because was he walked away from his original roots and never mentioned about hos originality as an Indian or he kept away his parents from mentioning that.. that was very sad. In 1964 when he arrived in England there was so much racism in England and he always thought that if people come to know his originality they would never accept a Brown man as rock artist and then later after he became Legend he kind of forgot his roots purposely may be he must have thought that now I am too big for the third country. You know his parents spoke Gujarati and he also spoke Gujarati at home, if you listen to his interviews you can see, hear and feel that he had an accent. In any case I love and respect his talent. He was so genius and self made man. His parents put him in Indian at very small age in boarding school where he learnt all his singing and Piano playing. But he was a very lonely man. We love you Farrokh and will miss you forever.
Believe me that Freddie will be forever in our hearts even though I was born in 1993 and was not living at the time of his prime I've rocked to Queen since my childhood.
@Burhanuddin Bhinderwala yes its cringe but it's true Freddie parents are indian, his surname is bulsara , a Gujrati origin surname, he is a parsi Indian but later his family migrated from India to Britain and taken there citizenship like sundar pichai has taken American citizenship
Ouff, Freddie .. hands down, he transforms music, gave us the best continued rock... out of this world best ever vocals! Stage engagement... truly is no one like him! ❤❤❤
Bulsara is an Indian surname similar to Balsara which indicates ancestry from Bulsar (Valsad). Notable people with this surname include. Freddie Mercury (born Farrokh Bulsara, 1946-1991) From Wikipedia
Global Star..🙏Proud of Freddy Mercury...Proud Indian,🙏🔥❤️ At least he spent some time in India.. Pachgani is just 70km from my Home..where he studied.. Hope he is Entertaining Angels in Heaven ❤️
I am pleased that, Farrokh (AKA, Freddie Mercury), and Kishmira respected the wishes of you, and Mr Bulsara. Even though, he said, "He wasn't going to be a rock star, he was going to be a legend". How right he was. If you see him in the afterlife, please tell Freddie, he is greatly missed, by his fans.
@@suchandrasarkar8671 zoroastrianism is the original religion of Persia, they forced people over there to become Muslims (unfortunately) as Christian Byzantines did to the Greeks. His family escaped to India.
hearing that Freddie when he started, was singing like a sheep makes me feel more comfortable about my singing, because if he did develop such a strong voice out of nothing, then everybody can
300, 000, 000 record sales is an awful lot. Most music artists think that they are doing well to get 100, 000, 000 record sales (and they are) but 300 million is just an incredible amount.
Watched a previous video on Freddie that ?d his leaving his house and 1/2 his money to former girlfriend, asst, friend, Mary. GUESS what, kids! He earned the money, he can jolly well leave it to whom wishes! That said, his mum and sis are very sweet. Love you Freddie!
Roger cooke said Freddie was recognized as Persian. What did he knew about parsis and their contributions to Indian society and how much blood they shed for giving India independence. He was never a Persian. He just used his ancestry to hide his indian descent and heritage. He was truly Indian.
@@Ionabrodie69 ; I did not say the contrary; i know he Freddy is British but he was from india with iranian blood. I only said "It will be very difficult (impossible ) to produce another artist like Freddy Mercury and originated from India"
It's weird listening to his mom talk about Freddie. She never accepted his sexuality. Some parents just don't know how to cut the cord. He looks like his mom too.
@@dontsubscribetome3262 then you yourself should be questioning your heritage ..... Do you know where your ancestors lived 1000 years ago.... Tell me your current country you live in and the country your ancestors lived 1000 years ago and that is the country you belong to not where you live.
@@dontsubscribetome3262 but the facts is that your ancestors lived in Sweden for 1000 years and Freddie's ancestors lived in India for 1000 years..... Yes they have persian lineage but you yourself do not think that they inherited a few things from India in a time period of 1000 years..... For example their surname and why would they put the surname after an Indian city if they are persian .... And their mother tongue was Gujarati-hindi spoken by most parsis here....even their clothing has mixed with indian styles.... And for a boy living in India in his teenage for 10 years where his parents were born and where he lived with his aunt and cousins ...... How you can deny he is not Indian .....
