See i know freddie Roach very well, he trained one of my favorite fighters and one of the best defensive fighter of all-time Magic man Marlon Stalings.
He using the be in fights , he knock out people, he knows what to do in a heat of the moment i love the way he teaches boxing cause he wants the person who fights using em both of his hands so if you right handed he make you use your left ,if you left handed he make you using your right, but in a way you became a both handed boxer with a perfect balance and force like a bull but the problem is he doesn't seems pay attention outfighting i watch pacquio's fights he dodges good and he pretty fast but i do prefer Muhammad Ali's style is a 1 of a kind ADHD Bee Swarmer , Stamina burner, outfighter.
ive been trying to work on my hand foot coordination aswell its tricky for a beginner bc we miss the small little details, its frustrating but hopefully patience and practice will pay off
Everyone needs to stop hating on Freddie, he is a great boxing trainer and he never has a cross word to say about anyone. Leave the man alone, he has done more in his life than all you hacks put together! The internet makes everyone an expert.
joediffy yeh right this fucking fraud is a racist piece of shit. He sucks as a trainer. Everybody feels sorry for his sorry ads because he is sick... He is a fucking joke
Freddie Roach is a great offensive Coach I got alot of my knowledge From the best Coach in the game Emanuel Steward and became a 2 Time World Champion 🥊 at the end of the day Glory to God
Why is everyone commenting about people hating on Freddie? I haven't seen anything bad said about him in the comments and I scrolled for quite a while.
@@thersten Or alternatively people instantly jump to conclusions without reading the comment section and post about not making fun of people with Parkinsons to show what a good person they are.
Biggus Dickus because the hate is all in their own mind. they have something to say themselves and just say other people are saying it to make themselves look good.
big credit to Roach for continuing to be such a major force in boxing training despite suffering from Parkinson's. Respect. Some of the comments below are just vile, making fun of his symptoms is stupid.
I remember watching these videos 10 years right as I first started getting into boxing. I haven't trained the whole way through which is a shame for myself, but I came here to send on to a whatsapp group of colleagues who all meet weekly to do some fun sparring. I've actually quoted Freddie a lot more than I realised over the years and now I know exactly where a lot of it comes from!
thanks for these instructional vids n shit man, i used to box wen i was like 17-18and then i just got real out of shape sittin around doin nuthing for 7 years, put on 50 lbs...im tryin to get back into shape n into boxing, i have good power and a good chin, but my basics were always iffy, so thanks for puttin the vids up, ill take wut i can from em...
manny aint scared to take a shot, which is why he has an edge over mayweather. he is willing to put himself in danger to get better angles and closer counters. they are top competitors and usually when its that close, the guy who throws more punches wins.
One other thing that Manny does that is very terrible, he leans forward when he throws his crosses most of the time. He's fast so he gets away with it. However, if you watch him he sometimes leans too far forward at the waist when he throws the left cross and his right hook is often wide. When Manny knocked down Hatton with one of the earlier hooks, the hook was about 12 inches away from Pac's chin. It landed because Hatton walked right into the punch.
I boxed in the amateurs and what he is saying is just basic stuff. Basically you just want to make sure you have good balance but if you pay attention to alot of fighters....they don't even do the basic stuff too well. Fighters cross thier feet and some even have their feet parallel when they're punching (mike tyson).
When you throw a hook, you want the hook to be 3 to 6 inches from your own chin. That is how youre suppose to throw a hook. All you have to do is bend your elbow at a 45 degree angle and turn it towards your own chin. The punch should land on your opponents chin. Pac throws a lot of wide shots and gets away with it because of his speed. If I were Floyd or anybody else, I would feint Pac into throwing those wild shots and counter him effectively.
I'm not even going to read the comments of the people who are being negative about this video but I will ask a question. I want to know what any of you have achieved as a boxer or trainer. Let me answer that for you, you all pale in comparison to Freddy Roach.
freemoable Roach has a mediocre pro boxing record and his coaching record is not exactly elite. Just because people point this out/have an opinion on it, it doesn't mean they're not entitled to this opinion or have to be pro boxers or boxing coaches. Your so-called 'logic' is laughable bullshit.
freemoable And you are entitled to your opinion. Hell, you can say the moon is made of cheese and the earth is flat if you want. It doesn't make it so.
@@cquilty1 Exactly, that's the beauty of opinions and discussions, why am I starting to get the impression you're going to turn this discussion in to a petty lets see who gets the last word in competition?
