I'm happy I'm living in a time where I can watch this quality performance at the click of a button. Thank you Freddie, Des and the Chimpanzee. Never forgotten ❤
Great duo you can see they were good friends, sadly both gone, we are lucky to have these clips, anyone thought of making a movie on Freddy Star fantastic comedian but what a singing voice, I met Des in 1979 in the Theatre Royal Norwich what a Lovely Man RIP you two Real Stars😊
Freddie was a brilliant comedian and him and Des together were absolutely fantastic, loved them both 🥰was a disgrace what happened to Fred at the end of his life ,so sad he did not deserve that💔
The last time I had I good laugh was the last time I saw Freddie Starr ,him and Des O'Connor were brilliant together, don't rate any off the so called Comedians today do not to anything for me,
With all what's happening in the world at the moment bring back the repeats of this wonderful comedien to bring some laughter. We could do with right now
Freddie had an amazing voice and always had me in stitches - he had a sad start in life 💕 and was tormented through life. He paid the price for his stardom. Poor Freddie - thanks for all the laughter ❤..
Freddie Starr could take anybody off a great impersonator ,singer & comedien. Both together now in paradise.R.I.P. Freddie Starr & Des O Connor.Des O Connor was a great 60s singer too
Fantastic Comedian and entertainer, he just knew how to make people laugh with quality comedy! Unlike the very sad crap we see on our television today. R.I.P Freddie, You are sorely missed! BJG.
My oh my, another great performer of an ilk we will never see again. Great sadness in his passing but joy that he led a full loving life. RIP Des, love to al, your family. Mike

I just love Freddie so much. He was brilliant. Shame he burned himself out.... Very hyper. And in lalter life he was very troubled and a mess. But when he first started he became a state every n
I am now reading a lot more about Freddie Starr. His was a fascinating life.... Lots of ups and downs. But one things for sure he had an incredible talent. He was truly a funny bloke. Those beautiful twinkling blue eyes and really handsome face that he could contort into all sorts of funny expressions was priceless. A naturally funny man. It was so awful to read about the last few years of his life after the accusation. I can't bear to think of how humiliated he must have felt being arrested three times!! Only to have the charges dropped and be found innocent of any wrong doing. Thank G-D. But it took it's toll on his health both physically and mentally. He just seemed to loose his footing completely. Mud sticks!!!! Even if you are found innocent of charges. It's leaves a stigma and Many careers have been ruined. I do not believe Freddie Starr was into 14 / 15 year old girls. He was so good looking, successful and popular I am sure the Ladies were running after him. He could have anyone he wanted. So my point is that it is a very dangerous thing to accuse someone of crimes without any evidence. This girl/woman destroyed his reputation. I think be should have tried to put it to one side afterwards. He was ill advised by his lawyer to sue the woman. Because you need tons of money to support your lawsuit and I believe he was no longer super wealthy or healthy anough to deal with it. Freddie you are missed very much and always will be. But you should be remembered as a wonderful talented man who gave us lots of laughs over the years. Love you. 💕💕💕 His showbizz friends certain evaporated when he needed support. Nobody wants to associate with you when you have g
I am old enough to remember him well, (saw him live at the Batley Variety Club in my teens...) - and sure, he was hugely entertaining but I often wonder, with changing times and attitudes, would his humor (almost slap stick really) be embraced as much today? He would be up there with the likes of Kevin Flanagan and Kevin Bridges - no ? But would he? The more I watch his performances, (as an old man now), I begin to realize what a tormented, torn and unhappy life he must have lived. Really sad 😪
