Where were all these stars when he needed help and support......nowhere to be found !! A true and unique talent and defo one of a kind. Thanks for the laughs Freddie you will always be a legend
Thank you so much for uploading pierced6966. Freddie was a comedy genius. From an era we will sadly never see again. It was so sad he was abandoned by his showbiz 'friends' towards the end of his life. The only thing he was ever guilty of was being an extremely funny man. RIP Freddie and thank you for keeping millions entertained for many years. God bless x
You're kind of rewriting history here... It wasn't the accusations that lost him friends.. It was his antics.. I love Freddie. I still watch his videos. But you have to accept Freddie upset most of his showbiz friends who in the end wouldn't work with him.. Watch the documentary Freddie Starr ate my hamster on RU-vid filmed while he was still alive. He'd made a lot of enemies even before the accusations
Like him or not, there's no denying his incredible talent at impressions, comedy and singing. We need entertainment like this now really, at least I feel.
The problem is all the olden-day comedians are recorded on tape - unlike in previous years when they molded themselves on their heroes - and so we all have seen their versions of humour before - it restricts creativity somewhat
@@cycleSCUBAyou no what fella I would have disagreed with your comments till watching this ! I never laughed once in fact my face was in my hands it was all soo unfunny !!! Hiddcch
Gave us all everything and more... for the press & operation yewtree to tarnish him.... for his young wife to give up on him... but..... we the public all worshiped him. & knew he was innocent. sadly not even geniuses live forever. we still miss you Freddie. x
Bastards to the last, destroyed his reputation, a true genious of British comedy. nobody to day can compare, they are all unfunny crap. Even comedy to day seems to follow strict quota, I have yet to see a truly funny woman comedian that compare to him, it seems like that we are expected to laugh at their mostly vulgar non jokes especially if they come from a of a minority group, thank God that I am too old to have to complay. and I don't give a fuck of any one's opinion.
Not only was he so funny the guy could sing great he was so talented, grew up watching him on telly good old days when people didn't get offended all the time
A brilliant comedian which made him unpredictable so God and his Angels have the privilege of his company in heaven, when we have heavy Rain you will know they are all Laughing.
I love how freddie, at 1:30 ,made everyone start clicking their fingers and clapping their hands, knowing he was going to keep singing for another 80 seconds just to piss em off
Seen Freddie live once, he was hilarious, he singled my wife out as we were at the front seats and he appreciated her assets, she turned a funny shade when lay on the stage and chatted to her, we were lucky to met him afterwards at the theatre bar, he was a gent.
Who is the celeb @ 19.17 (and again @ 35:45) with the shoulderless black top? ..and THANKS Pierced6966 for uploading this. I needed some politically incorrect humour from back in the day and Freddie was hands down the best
Now I will get a lot of stick for this but I feel this An Audience With for Freddie was poor compared to his first special. I feel this one was lacklustre, tedious and just very empty. His first special in 1996 was miles better and had a lot more energy and fun to it. Sorry.
28:25 "Ohhh, please dont leave me like this love.... im a professional" was an act of genuine fear 🤣🤣🤣🤣 knowing he would get cancelled in an instance if the media caught him Genius
@@alkatrask2704 I live in the states and sadly I never knew about Freddie until I ran across him on here. Yes he was a genius. He was also a great all around talent.
25:05 Jesse Conrad genuinely shit himself at the end of this sketch.... for knowing his career would be over in an instance once seen by the media........🤣 only Freddie could instill that fear into you whilst other all around you are pissing themselves laughing
@@martinistakis1825 There's loads of gorgeous women in that audience. Do you know who the celeb @ 19.17 ( (and again @ 35:45) is with the shoulderless black top?
@@craigsimons817 Yep, you're right.. looks way better here than as the anorexic blonde from back then.. still didn't stop my then teenage self from whacking off though
Blackface? The Jordinaires? Early rock and roll songs? Columbo impressions? This was already pretty dated by the mid-nineties, let alone the 2020s. He does have a manic energy and a certain roguish charm but his actual material is pretty old...
love freddy starr but cant stand this kind of smug celebrity audience. There because they want to show they are famous. and we are meant to worship them or something.
