As you can tell from the Dennis Kirkland writing credit and ensemble cast, these specials were mostly written for Benny Hill before he died. Unsurprisingly, they bombed.
Get off the grass Freddy was just as funny and a great voice , impersonator,could sing act the goat you name it he had it all sadly missed in these unknown times
I don't know if this one was ever released on DVD but it was released on VHS and it's probably still available on eBay. But the VHS version omits the "You Don't Have To Say You Love Me" song and includes an extra 15 mins of outtakes and Rob Bromley the magitigan. 👍
Basically The Benny Hill Show without Benny Hill, and with Dennis Kirkland desperately trying to write like Benny, even nicking some of his old gags. Bob Todd, Derek Deadman, Little Angel Joanna Kirkland. Thankfully Henry McGee didn't join, as this is just sad IMO, nothing against Freddie.
