I saw Freddy's Dead in the theater when I was ten and loved it. Funny thing is everyone in the theater thought the whole movie was gonna be 3d so five minutes in you could hear everyone whispering "it isn't working."

I rented Freddy's Dead on VHS sometime in 1992. I was 10 years old. I remember not liking the movie at all but really enjoying the soundtrack and loving the end credits due to the exquisitely edited highlight reel of Freddy's mayhem throughout the series!

Freddy's Dead and Jason Lives are the two main horror movies my Uncle had that I would watch growing up. The only reason he had either was because they feature Alice Cooper. Also Prince of Darkness now that I think of it!

My memory of Freddy's Dead is walking past the mall theater marquee and seeing the title Freddy's Dead. I didn't sneak into watch. My devious friend and I was likely up to no good and didn't take the time to watch. I eventually watched the following year on HBO. It's my favorite due in large to nostalgic factor. The previous 'Nightmares' legitimately scared me as a child in the 1980s.

This movie gets a lot of hate but I’ve always enjoyed it quite a bit. I still need to grab that DVD boxset. The first time I ever seen the film was a long time ago when I was a kid, there was a NOES marathon airing on tv and it was up to this film and I thought it was absolutely wild! I love the cover with the blue background towards the end.

The first time I saw Freddy’s Dead, I was twelve years old in 1995 and I rented it from the video store. In 2001 I bought the soundtrack on CD off eBay for something like $8.

Awesome video. We have clubs that have Theaters in them that show movies for free.. There was one literally around the corner, and then next street over from my house here in the Suburbs of Sydney. I saw Freddy's dead there and still have a few Freddy's Dead 3D glasses. I am a VHS collector and have the series plus the whole Australian Freddy's dead ex-rental VHS also. My Mum also took me to see The Dream Master and The Dream Child at another near by Cinema ( had to pay there though...unlike the Leagues clubs).

Love these "Home Video Release" shows! I had the pleasure of seeing Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare in the theater. I was 10 years old and I talked my Dad and Mom into taking me to it. Selling it to them that it's in 3-D and I had never seen a 3D movie. Of course I was already a huge Nightmare fan (seeing the original film when I was 5), and this would be my first Freddy in a movie theater! It was awesome! I remember things popping out of the screen, however the movie was always Anaglyph 3D (red/blue) and NOT Polarized 3D (dark lenses) like the original Friday the 13th 3. I still have the original Freddy's Dead theater glasses with Suburban Commando & House Party II ads on the sides.

First movie I ever saw in the franchise was Freddy’s Dead. I grew up in a small town in Minnesota and hadn’t seen any of the other ones but people said this was definitely the last one. So I made sure I got to rent it from I think a place called Videoland. My mom and sister went there for me and rented it and I loved it. I watched it two or three times that weekend. Until I saw Dream Warriors a few weeks later on syndication, Freddy’s Dead was my favorite. It’s in my top four of the Elm Streets, with 3, 2 and 1 my top three. Great video and ty again! Keep the good stuff coming and the Children of The Night song at the beginning of the video is awesome! I can’t wait for the Home Video Release videos for the remaining Elm Streets and for Creepshow and Army of Darkness. You’re awesome Christian and keep kicking ass man!

I own Freddy’s Dead on VHS. The very first time I ever saw the film, I rented the VHS tape with a friend from a mom and pop video rental shop. We ordered a pizza and had a blast. This must have been around 1994, I think.

I can't remember the first time I saw Freddy's Dead I know I didn't see it in theaters the only Nightmare on Elm Street movie I think I saw was New Nightmare my friend bought me the DVD set for my birthday and I think that's when I saw it for the first time I never owned it on VHS but it's not my favorite of the series but the artwork is awesome and that laserdisc is really cool I would probable buy one just for the artwork really cool video Christian

I´m Puerto Rican. So I was in the Island when I watched the movie. It could have been my second or third time going to the movies. I don´t think I was even aware that it was 3-D. I just wanted to see it because it was the last Freddy movie. I went with my parents since I was just a kid. And I remember the employee giving us the glasses and letting us know when we were supposed to put them on. PS That was a thing with Nightmare different from Friday. Yes, it was a horror movie and kids were not meant to watch it. That being said, in terms of sex, Nightmare only had a few scenes in the entire franchise. So, at least there was that.

I've always liked Freddy's Dead ever since I first saw it on vhs. I will never understand why it's one of the most hated slasher movies. The reviews for Freddy's Dead are just too vicious and mean spirited. I mean Jesus Christ man the movie isn't THAT bad lol
