No they wouldn't have because they were B list back then sir .. outside of Tales from the hood and the sitcoms those the only thing I liked by either ..
@@PSICK1234ikillallracistrollsok so they couldn’t possibly have gotten bigger roles afterwards? Mind you they were early in their acting career then. And since when is 20+ years in something not make you an OH regardless of status?
Nobody ever asked about Lamont. I grew up on him and Merlin Santana. They were like my big brothers through those tv shows. RIP to the both of those guys 🙏🏿
You have to be the softest person in the world and if they were here they'll tell you the same..big brothers....those are actors man! If that affected you then just do it to yourself because you're in the way.
@@Nolikes_MediaSame shit ya’ll praise Tom Cruise, Merly Streep and all white actors/actresses for. Why u mad to see black people happy that other black people succeed. Clown ass
@@cosmiccocoa2689 foolish man they where playing a roll it fake not real. I'm glad, too. But I don't think most people would associate him with Lamont all that much. Seems interviewers would ask most of the main cast of Moesha.
Exactly! Because 👁 was in a crucial, devastating & severe automobile accident on May 31th , 1997. I lost control of my mothers car 🚗. After getting into a car accident. After getting hit on the drivers side of my mom’s car. The Doctors who saved my life then. Told my mother that if I survived my accident. That 👁 would be in a comatose state. For the rest of my life. I have came so far from then to now. 👁’m here confess that there is a #HIGHER Omnipotent Omnipresent in this Universe & 3rd Planet 🌎 from the SUN ☀️ which we call Planet 🌎 Earth 🌍.
The way Lamont Bentley died is the most gruesome way I ever heard someone die. He was speeding and his car ran through a stop sign, tore through a chain-link fence across the street, and rolled down an embankment where he was thrown from the car into freeway traffic where he was was hit by five cars.
I never cared for him. He comes across like low key he enjoys giving the info to build a case. Like if he's getting back at the Black dudes that didn't accept him.
People, please stop watching v lad.... Do NOT give him ANY play, no likes, no comments. Let him starve! And while you're at it, be careful of all these other pages that seem to be run by black people but are really white people. Stop letting them make money off us!
@@user-wi8bf5zu9r Al Jarreau, Gêne Wilder, Liberace, Charlotte Rae are just a few examples of people who were famous before Lamont Bentley was even born.
I'm 44, so about the same age as Lamont, there are some actors that you can tell are straight up cool dudes in real life, Lamont was one of them. R. I. P.
@@bosco0172 very few young men know how to take or can overcome rejection; alot of violence and self destructive behavior stems from that wether we admit or not.
Fredro Starr was one of my favorite musicians and male actors growing up, especially seeing him on Moesha and a few movies I would catch him starring in. It's good to see him still doing his thing and knowing he not in any trouble or anything.
It was a sad day when he passed I was so heartbroken even to this day. I do love the fact I got to meet him on a weekend while visiting West Hollywood's Beverly Center Mall. He was on the escalator in front of me and so i I went over to say hello. He was very nice and engaging. A great talent. Hope he's in a better place ❤
I seen Lamont Bentley in the food court @ Northridge Mall walkin' wit' his homies when I was a teen. He was @ the height of his success too. He didn't give a f*ck tho he was in the mix; and the Mil ain't sweet...
@blackpoliticsnewsnetwork1111 VH1 did an MC Hammer TV movie in 2001...Romany Malco from "40 Yr Old Virgin", Blades of Glory, Weeds, etc played Hammer...he's actually a rapper turned actor...I remember he use to be in a rap group called The College Boyz in the early 90's & they were even on Arsenio...Lamont played 'Pac
Lamont is a Milwaukee legend. One of the realest, his daddy too. Lamont adapted to the hood out there cause he WAS hood😅Milwaukee is hood depending on where you are, but yeah, he will never be forgotten. Ever.
It's so hard seeing him as hood after Moesha (but I know, it's just acting). My first TV memory of him seemed hood, though. He played a teen father on a Fox Kids commercial.
Damn Lamont was the homie. He went to Fairfax high with my brother RIP I still remember when he got the role on Adam 12 we knew he was going to be a star. Rip L-mont
Yo rip to Lamont Bentley. I remember he had that scene with Shaq in the movie the wash classics ass movie 🎥 . He was really underrated in the comedy scene
I'll never understand why people say "If I was there it wouldn't of happened" my son said this about his best friend was murdered at a house party when they were 16. I told him just because you weren't at the party doesn't mean it wouldn't have happened.
I think it's our way of saying "I wish I were there to protect him/her, because I really wish they were here". As humans we care about each other more than we realize. Just my opinion. RIP to your son's friend.
Damn so how many cast members on the cast of Moesha passed? I remember I added the show to my watch list during the pandemic but I never got around to it. Sad shit. RIP to him and Merlin
😢last thing I remember with Lamont was him in Tales From the Hood "idgaf idgaf idgaf!!! Classic. Me and my girl saw that in the movies. It was the summer time. I think i had just finished 10th grade
The fact alone that noone asked how he felt about losing his friend is devastating, That's awful in itself. Maaaaan Moesha was my favourite show growing up along with Sister Sister, Fresh Prince and others so when he and Andel passed it was a big loss but hope one day they reboot and do a movie as that was a great show, great cast...RayJ aside 🥴
I was 25 when Moesha started coming on. I never watched it, but it just started coming on 1 of my channels back in January. Lamont's character was cool AF. He definitely put out energy like he was family or a close friend. Rest in Power.
I didn't like that character too much, but I loved everything else he did. Fox Kids Club (early 90's), South Central (the sitcom) and of course Tales From the Hood, where he really shined. RIP
I feel this, man. I have a vaguely similar story about my best friends' deaths when I was kid. It's hard for a very long time because you feel guilt even though you shouldn't. You weren't there, but you feel like you could've stopped what happened had you been.
Meeting the whole Moesha cast was everything to me and Lamont Bentley smiled at me and saw me dancing in the audience and he gave me my props! Long live Lamont Bentley 🙏🏾❤️😭💔🕊
Me and Lamont,Artimus grew up together elementary school. He used to to say his mom in California modeling and he on a starburst and being a father commercial. I was in NC in college, he used to to always shout me out on the radio checking for me. Peace and love Fredo love Onyx
Lamont personality fo'sho beamed in T.V nd Flims .. So to hear Fredo talk about Lamont in such high esteem , I could believe he was a very special guy.
I'm from the slums of East Pittsburgh in my childhood and teens. I spent my 20s trying life in different cities trying school and then the military at 22. I stayed hoodside because that's all I knew. I know I had a light and an aura cuz I had a few crazy azz Fredros around me over the years who kinda showed me my own light and aura. I'm blessed to be alive and well because of them. I hope and pray my son finds friends who uplifts him before they drag him down. I won't be around to teach him that, but I can give him his light in the meantime 💞💪🏽💯
I hope and pray you are around to check that he has light and love of good people around your son. A memory book and a letter for him for when you are gone is an idea. I'm sure you've taught him right, though.
I remembered he did his last interview on bet and he was about to do more acting and taking care of his daughter and right after he got into an accident and passed away
Lamont really played that role of Krazy K in "Tales from the Hood" man the 90's and the early 2k really had the best hood/comedy movies but besides all that i never really wanted to know what happened to him or Merlin. Its almost like i didn't wanna believe it 😔 rip to both childhood brothers
Lamont just FELT like he was a good guy... Almost like his energy came thru the characters he portrayed... To hear they had those Sundays at his house where gang members and five percenters could just vibe... And talk and be at peace.... He is missed... Continue to rest in peace King 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾
I liked How F.S. Brought The " Tupac" Vibe To The Moesha Show...His Catch Phrase For Her Was " Little Shawty"...He Is An A-1 Class Act...Very Heart Touching Interview...😞🎨💎☀️☮️🙏.
They posthumously dedicated in memory of Lamont Bentley. And the Brian Hooks directed film wifey. Brian Hooks dedicated the film In Memoriam to Lamont Bentley.
NO Fredo, he was NOT DRUNK!👌🏾💎LA Times & others state: “senior medical examiner for Ventura County stated The results revealed no drugs or alcohol in his system. Bentley was pronounced dead at 12:23 a.m. autopsy concluded that he died of multiple blunt force injuries.”
Man i'll never forget when i found out unfortunately a year later after he passed. Moesha reruns was coming on the WGN channel (Chicago) Spring of 2006. I remember saying to myself "whatever happened to this man"? Next day at school i went to the library/computers during my lunch break, went to Wikipedia and searched his name, i couldnt even believe it. I didnt even wanna believe it especially how it happened it hit me hard. I was 16 at that time, R.I.P. Lamont Bentley 🙏 🕊
I Watched Moesha In July Just To Uplift My Spirits. In Canada 🇨🇦 The Show Would Air Sporadically. I Got To See From The Entire Show. It Was Nice Seeing All The Stars So Young & The Fly Meoshe Shirts 😍.. A Tremendous Loss.. Rest In Love Lamont Bentley 🙏🏽
