U got a gem and it was full of price items the van along worth over 20,000 to 30,000 with low miles u can tell the miles the van is super clean everything is brand new on the van including the paint so enjoy you got probably the only one around with mileage awesome find and finds in it
This thing is in excellent shape so far. And I didn't see a lot of factory power windows on G vans back in the day. Sure the conversion vans, but not a lot factory. Even still has the window crank circle not drilled from the factory. Definitely don't see many of those. Alright, I'm going back to the video✌️
The Chrysler CB AM/FM radio was used in both mid 70s to early 80s Chrysler products. They all took same size radios. It’s worth an easy $300-$400. On the rare side. Those maroon bucket seats were definitely bought for the van I would say. You could resell those for $300-$500 for the pair. I think the black box in the back is a rear heater. Quite a haul of interesting and valuable items there.
That van is super nice and extremely hard to find in that condition, my uncle and Grandfather had vans that looked like your van , had the honor of working on my grandfather's and the easiest way is through the Doghouse can't Access much from under the hood, it probably has the 305 or 350 V8 4 speed auto trans , great video and super cool finds inside of the van .
Well I see why it's called smoked out garage especially when he takes box's of magazines that could be 1,000$s of dollars and talks about donating them. I hope this is a act if not I'll buy everything out of that van for 50$
What a haul, there's stuff older than me in there. I watched the 1967 Batman TV series when it was new. Anyway the Chrysler CB is a factory option, fits many Mopar dashes from 70s to 90s.
I think those extra seats are for the back of the Van. This Van has rear Heat and AC. The box on the floor is the Heater, the box above the rear doors is the AC. These Vans could tow the same as a truck and still have the whole family riding in style. It’s cool that this Van has power windows and power locks, definitely an option.
I think maybe that van was ordered because it's kind of a plain Jane van but it has power windows and power locks and am and FM cassette and air conditioner she is kind of a loaded model for a plain Jane LOL
@dcformee123 that was the first thing I noticed. Those factory power windows. I have seen a lot of G vans over the years with power windows, but they were mostly aftermarket. They still had the stub from the window crank poking through the door. That door panel still had the circle that was undrilled for the original window crank, I've been working for GM for 24 years and have only seen a handful like that. And I mean, maybe 15, 20 of them, not a lot at all especially with the amount of these vans were on the road for decades. I can tell you I came across 2 of this particular style G van with stick shifts though. Stupid rare apparently, and the first one I saw I didn't believe was factory until i seen another one a few years later.🤷 Just looks awkward, the shifter comes up through the floor next to the seat in front of the doghouse. Inconvenient, but cool as hell 🤣
I don't even know how I found this channel, but the G30 sparked my interest as I owned a g20 gladiator conversion, so nostalgia. I first thought this would be lame and click baitish. But stayed till the end, So many good finds aside from the van. very interesting video.
that van is a project. it was a cargo van someone was turning into a passenger conversion van. thats what the seat are for. I'm thinking that there are other stuff for that van that was stored somewhere else at the hoarder house that probably didnt fit in the van. or was probably taken out to stuff the other items in. for instance the wheel an tire in the back. most likely had the hole set. but stuff somewhere else on the property. Regardless you found some very good things. and what is there for the van it self is a huge jump in transformer the van into a very nice ride.
They used to call the beer sign { POS } - point of sales , You could put it over the cooler in the store or on the wall & at a bar . It took me some time but you look like Kelso from That 70's Show .. That was a great video ..
Absolutely excellent video and very interesting to watch, I'm a full-time nomad over in the UK and i live in a vintage Van, but your van is a an absolute amazing find. Looking forward to your next video on it. Subbed.🚐🤟✌️💯🚛
Just between the sports cards, Batman picture (ADAM Freaking WEST!) and a number of other antique items in that pile, you can easily make your investment back. That is quite an amazing find. That hood release... You have to pull on that thing like you are trying to pull it out the back door of the van. They made them "slightly" to long for the length from the pull to the release.
Sports cards are tricky, unless you are super knowledgeable about them it is hard to know what is worth anything. Unfortunately most from the 80's and 90's are worthless. You're best bet is probably to look for rookie cards of big names. The license plates might have some value. Not sure about Canada but some states in the US will let you register vintage plates that are the correct year for your car.
Those two plastic holder. The Mortar tube bomb holder. Those are for mortar rounds. They actually hold mortar rounds that are from a mortar. Also the 3/68 is the month and year they were issued. So that means March of 1968. Yes it was from Vietnam. The soldiers would carry those to the field with them. Great video man
Actually its the engine for the mortar... it is pulled out, threaded into the bottom of the ordinance... Then the pin is slammed in with a strike on the ground then quickly dropped into the launch tube
That is a very nice van! Such a shame they bent up the driver door. I think the paint can be cut and buffed to look new! Low miles too! Get a good mechanic to get her running again. I'm sure the gas tank needs to be removed, don't try to start it and suck that old gas into the engine. I'm interested to see it washed and cleaned out and running again! AND you got a lot of expensive things out of it too! Those center caps go to a 67'-78' Corvette. There should be chrome surrounds to go with them. Those red seats are GM seats probably for that van!! Beautiful!!! The hoses inside going to the rear is for the rear A/C. I hope you have a title for it or you're able to apply for a title?
Not a hoarder. That was someone's traveling store, for going to flea markets down south in the winter.. Those newspapers were saved for a reason. Check the dates, to see what happened on those days.
When God was giving out smarts you weren't in the cue unfortunately. I got as far as the wheel studs and you didn't know what they were and it went down hill from there so much for the name
I am into sports collecting sports cards and sports memorabilia so those cars will be worth money I hope you still have those Sports cards, I'm collector
I know am late for this comment but as a Moparian that Radio with the C.B is factory for cars and pick-up trucks and vans as a factory option from 1978-1984 year model not really for Rigs it just for cars like Dodge Aspens, Plymouth Volares, Chrysler New Yorkers, Dodge Power Wagons and Warlocks, and Lil Red Express.
They have something called internet and it is on your phone you can look up every item that was in those vehicles you definitely want to do your homework because you have some items worth the effort as in you may be able to buy ten cars from what was back of van
Van is still new! How many miles was it showing on it?????? Cards, comics and just about everything one collects don't hold their value well! Hot Wheels are the only thing I know of that hold their value!
I hope you didn’t throw that CB car stereo away to the right to the right buyer. It’s worth money. Not to me, but I do know people that would definitely buy it for a lot of money.
Kid holds up like 50 plates from NEW BRUNSWICK then looks at a plate that has N B on it and says I wonder what brand it is for. Can one be that stupid that he didn't see NB was for NEW BRUNSWICK. 😂😂😂
