'Plask' is a brand new Free AI Motion Capture tool designed to help with 3d animation and can easily be used in #Blender3D alongside with Rokoko's great character animation workflow - Now that's some good keywords
Key everyone! I'm currently working on a blender short, so i apologize for the absence over here on youtube. With the addition of school, it's pretty tricky to keep up with all the stuff. Anyways, hopefully i'll publish some more soon, but thanks for watching :)

Can we use animations made with Plask for commercial use? I can't find any info on their site about this one way or the other. I'm trying to make a 3D game in Unreal Engine and I already am learning modelling in Blender, but animation is just wayyyy above my pay grade. Any tips for a solo indie dev that doesn't have time to learn animation would be greatly appreciated.

You can simply export the animation from blender into a file with an extension of(i forgot the name of it) and then import into sfm!

@@johnlemon874 bc Animation can be stylized and for example Motion Capturing works only for Humaniod characters. So its very limited

@@jokybones No one said it will replace character animation lol. Motion Capture has been around for years, it's not a new thing. Motion Capture is better for humanoid characters but it doesn't work for stylization or non humanoids.

Ok, seriously, can someone please just say what the AI is to run locally? Everyone keeps pointing to Plask but this AI can clearly run on a local pytorch instance to output to an animation that can be imported in blender, or some godly person will make a blender addon using python to build this into blender automatically, but sending my videos and files off to be processed elsewhere under some ungodly TOS with ever changing and terrible privacy policy statements is just not appealing
