You two have some of the best reactions on RU-vid. The looks and smiles on your faces when you hear this music is priceless. I’m a little jealous sometimes that you’re hearing this for the first time, but at the same time I consider myself lucky to have grown up with this music. Another fun reaction. There’s a ton of music out there yet to be discovered, keep going. 👏👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤙
Anything Paul Rodgers is involved with is a banger! He also toured with Queen after Freddie Mercury passed, and his solo efforts are legendary. He recently released another solo effort and he can still sing his ass off!!
Free became Bad Company in 1973, with new guitarist and bassist. Bad Company signed for Swan Song, the record company formed by Led Zeppelin. Some songs I would suggest for your pleasure are “ Wishing Well “ and “ Mr Big “, both by Free. For Bad Company, try “ Bad Company” and “ Can’t Get Enough “. There are many many more great songs by both bands. Best wishes to you both, from an old man in England 🏴.
A great old band from when i was young lad cheers.I hope you have a look at Fleetwood Mac Peter Green - Black Magic Woman (Live Boston Tea Party) 1970. Thank you and all the best from England.
Paul was also the lead singer for the Supergroup "The Firm" with classic hits like "Radioactive",, "Satisfaction Guaranteed" & "All The King's Horses" 🔥❤️🔥
Hey guys, if you can you should always try and go for the audio first. Live you take a chance , sometimes they play it faster ,they don’t play at the same. Always try to go for the audio first.😎
This was really just a facsimile of the original studio recording. To me this is a very disappointing performance and the audio was mono. Whoever owns the copyright has apparently only scoured their vaults to put something more from Free on RU-vid. There are some far more impressive videos of this song available with Paul Rodgers. Any of his Super Queen renditions are far more satisfying. 🤷♂😕
I always feel sorry for the drummers. They are always stuck in the back. I like that The Beatles usually had Ringo on a platform so he wasn’t hidden behind every one else.
I was 11-12 years old at the time and totally enthusiastic about this blues rock “tube”, for me the best with Robert Plant, Ian Gillian and Roger Daltrey. The studio album Fire And Water and their live album 1970 raised great expectations. Over time, both “Free” and “Bad Company” became poppier, shorter, more radio-friendly, but also more interchangeable. For me the compositions left a lot to be desired. Both bands were more convincing live. For all good next week!!!
I listen to you all the time. I am 70 years old and I heard this song when it first came out. I was 16 years old when a high school friend of mine turned me onto tis kind of music for the first time. My first taste came from Led Zeppelin which I know you 2 ❤❤❤ a lot. Please check out some Black Sabbath I'm sure you will enjoy them too. Love❤❤❤your reactions and I have subscribed and listen to you everyday. You are both sweet souls and I love your emotional reactions to sad and love songs. You show such true emotion. I cry right along with you. Keep putting out good memories, it takes me back to my younger days. ❤❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂
That's beautiful. When started this channel, we never imagined how much of an amazing music we'll discover, but the biggest surprise is how many wonderful people joined us on our journey. Thank you so much for your kind words. Love and peace from Romania 💚
@MerchantOfAlba It's not hard to like people like you because you ARE so genuine no fakeness just pure true emotion. I live in a town called Fresno in the state of California and it always excites me when I make a comment to a channel I have subscribed to and the reactors actually answer back. You truly made my day. That just shows to me that you actually care about your audience. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING YOU.
The guitarist was called Paul Kossoff and was the son of the British actor David Kossoff. He was only 25 years old and died of a heart attack on a domestic flight as a result of his drug addiction. The bassist was called Andy Fraser and he had composed the guitar riff for Allright Now. He died in 2015.
You keep bringing back my high school days 1969-1972 😅 Sweet Memories 😂 I've heard FREE and I'm all right now, ❤love your reactions! I'm right, your right were all right now! Peace✌️ and Love❤️ your 70 year old forever hippie Gary😊
One of my favourite bands of all time. Crazy to think that Andy Fraser, the bass player, would have only been about 18 at the time of this Video and had been playing as a professional for two and a half years by this point
Free were one of my favourite bands as a kid and I still play their music today. A huge amount of brilliant tracks of which Mr Big is probably is probably the one I like best, mainly because of the exceptional base line. We re lucky that in Scotland we have an excellent tribute band called " Free Again" who I've been lucky enough to see a couple of times.
How could we leave this song behind, it reminds us to enjoy what’s right in front of us😎 The hard stuff will always be there , god knows Always! Yes I’ve listened to CCR consistently since they came out with their records, this song has never let me down.
Maybe you could react to Like a Bird by me someday! (Im The dude from The Netherlands that decided to dedicade my life to writing and creating crazy 50's 60's and 70's music on this channel) Lots of Love from The Netherlands once again! My Name is also André btw! :D
I thought you both would love this band. Paul Rogers is one of the great male rock vocalists. At some time try Mr Big[live] & Wishing well in particular.
Guitarist Paul Kossoff was an exceptional musician. His vibrato technique was recognised as the finest around at the time. Paul Rogers' voice still sounds as remarkable as it was back in the seventies. The drummer is Simon Kirke, and the bassist is Andy Fraser, who after Free, joined John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. I still have the 7inch single on the pink Island record label. Thanks for another great reaction as usual. 👍
