Thanks much! I was doing a quick search for a free audio editor for iOS, and figures that the guy with the GarageBand iOS touch is doing a review of this. Good overview, and even better that there's an Android version. Our university has our students away from home mostly, so we were looking for mobile-first apps. Hi there Gerry. Yes, you can import any audio you like, from a single snare drums sample to an entire song. I think this will be great for editing loops and samples.

I haven’t heard any significant degradation of quality, apart from some of the effects which I talked about in the video. They all seem to do a pretty good job of doing heir thing without impacting the quality.

Question:When I record audio,I can hear some background noises .It kinda annoyed me just because I wanna have a clean audio .So what effect should I use aswell with recommended stats to use? (if it is depend on the room that Im using,its kinda like an average bedroom)

Hey there. Yes, reducing background noise can be challenging for sure. You can use EQ to filter out noise of it is at a particular frequency. For instance if you have some rumbling sound, you can “roll off” the low end using a filter like this - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YR0CsArVw44.html For serious noise removal, o recommend the Brusfri plugin. Nice video. Thank you. Hmm. What i miss (correct me if i missed it) is that if i was to for example chop a loop of a specific tempo i would like the whole window+the app to be able to be set to the tepo of the Loop Sample. This way chopping, Quantizing , adding Delays would be tempo synced when you import a sample into a specific Tempo Project . Does this editor do this? If not does anyone knows an editor that does this?

Hey there. Yes, so this doesn’t do a great job with things like beat matching or tempos. I would suggest asking around on the iPad Musician forums on Facebook or Reddit and see what the folks there recommend.

Not sure if I answered this before? If you don't want to use a dedicated app, you will need to use an EQ plugin and try to find and turn down any frequencies where you hear the sibilance. I can try to do a video, but I haven't been successful myself in this. I tend to just make sure I back up off the mic and don't sing directly in to the capsule.

Os there a way i can make audio longer? For example i got a 5 sec audio recording of me saying hey. Can i copy that and place it at the end. So i got 10 second of me saying "hey hey"? I need this so i can make extended version of some audio

I tend to use the app AudioShare to convert video to audio. Works a treat for me. Costs a few dollars but really worth it.

I just meant those it allow you to use the app in the Background (turns out it does not) So I will have to definitely have to use another audio recording app the allows me to keep speaking as I jump over to my notes app and read my script out loud for during the recording process. 😅😂 But yeah it really is a little hassle, but a manageable one. So I edited a video, then tried to record a passage to insert it inside my audio. But Lexis doesn't allow it to be done this way, it can only record an altogether new audio. So I saved my already edited audio to Google Drive. Then I tried to reopen it, but not only Lexis did not save my audio to Google Drive, it doesn't see my audio anywhere else (sigh). So I wonder where there are some limitations where one could save audio files from Lexis?

Looks like a good app yet it would be stellar if the noise reduction works effectively. So for those of us who haven’t bit the bullet and bought the klev program we’d really get value from a video exploring the noise reduction unless you’re busy putting together an Isymphonic tutorial exploring some of the sound paks in their in app purchases...wink, wink.🐬
