Enjoying last camps in Arizona before heading east!
My name is Brian. I live on the road full time in my self built camper van. Join me on my adventures.
*In this video I leave my camp of Highway 64 near Williams, Arizona. I head down Highway 73 (Perkinsville Rd) and find a camp off Bill Williams Loop Rd. This is a dirt road the goes for 18 miles with lots of boondocking opportunities in the area. Coleman Lake was dried up but it was still very beautiful and peaceful camped among the big pines. I go for a trail bike ride and cook a hot lunch on the camp stove.

How can anybody give this a thumbs down......complete full honesty is shared and they don't like it ....they who gave this a thumb down is living a very sad and dark life.

I always wonder the same thing Russ Post... 7 down thumbs I think WTF? Who are these people? And why do they hate? Brian is not "telling us" to do anything except be at one with ones self, in harmony... How could any sane rational person give that a thumbs down... Hummm? Guess I answered my own question- they are not sane or rational.

How do you relate a thumbs down to hatred? Seems a little extreme. Doesn't it mean they either like or dislike? Everyone has an opinion, doesn't mean they are wrong, just their opinion.

Why express a "BAD" opinion? Didn't you have a grandma that told you: "If you don't have something nice to say about someone, just keep it to yourself" Why is your thumbs down important? To me... you don't like it... I Don't Care at all... BTW- You don't like this opinion here- I really don't care... I only dwell on the positive - neg crap-I don't care Lots of videos {Eric I mute his cat every start] I just turn down the sound... I still enjoy the vid... If you don't like some vid... why don't you just hit the next button? Thumbs down seems so 7th grade

Aahh Yeah! Thanks for the flight Brian! I love it out there! Those camp spots are generally full of RV's during the summer and fall. You can see large herds (80+) of Elk out there on Barney Flat sometimes around sunset. Also there are a few lakes out there that are stocked with fish. Enjoyed the video very much! Thanks again Brian!

If you hang by those tanks (water holes) at dusk or dawn you'll likely see Elk, Mule Deer, Antelope etc. Oh, and many cows😆 Great quadcopter shots👍

Great National Forest. In '12 rode out there on BMW GS 1200 dual purpose to view eclipse. Picked up in southern Illinois the Trail of Tears, and travelled that most of the way there. Father's side Cherokee. Tent camped for a few days enjoying the beautiful sparsely camped quiet Forest. Great place to contemplate American history.

The National Forests have so many great places to camp. I road tripped around the US and Canada for 4 months some years back with a car and my tent and it was so easy to find incredible places to camp usually with no one else around.

LOL you found my spot! Very cool!..The FS has been select cutting for a few years now to clean up it up and cut down on fires! The ones marked orange are to be cut! Great video!

American Axe & Tool Co , yes, also note the orange mark at the bottom of the tree. That’s so they can verify that only marked trees are cut - a stump without a mark is an unauthorized cut

Brian, if you pay close attention in the bottoms of the dry creek beds/arroyos in that country you will often find Black Walnut trees. They are stunted varieties of those found in wetter climates but they are still recognizable for their distinctive bark and for the tiny black walnuts on them or scattered underneath on the ground. Walnut is very hard wood and I don't know if that is suitable for carving or not, but I do know that the dark wood is very beautiful when polished.

Brian wonder if you'll see this: Orange paint and a tag indicate project area boundaries. A Forest Service employee sprays special tree-marking paint on a tree that is to be left during a thinning operation.
